VIT Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Vandalur

Placements: Only some students got placed in core companies, while the rest of the students got placed in IT companies. Cognizant, TCS and Infosys are top recruiters for our course, and students got placed in business analysts companies. Only very minimal students didn't get placed. Students who opt for higher studies are not allowed to attend placements.

Placements: Since I am a BBA LL.B. student, we don't have placements for our department. Other departments have good placement opportunities, and many companies approach our college to recruit students. As far as our department is concerned, we have to join a firm on our own and practise.

Placements: Roles like an electronic developer, marketing, digital electronics, assistant manager, etc., are offered to the students. Most of the students will also get a job in roles like a software developer, call centre, sales manager, etc.

Placements: Our college has good placement history. Vellore Institute of Technology is popular for hundred percent placements. One may get two to three or more offers in the final year and you may get internship opportunities for various multinational companies with a good salary.

Placements: Our college provides combined placement of civil students in core and IT companies and they are good, but placements in core companies of civil are average. The situation of internships offered is also the same as the placement. It is good if combines and average in core companies. The salary packages offered in core companies range from 4 LPA - 7.5 LPA.

Placements: VIT guarantees 100% placement for all its branches and every year, it has proven so. EEE is considered to be the best branch in VIT, Chennai as it has all the modern amenities and also provides an average placement of 6 LPA. Core companies and companies like Texas Instruments boast of placement offers as high as 20LPA.

Placements: TCS is the top recruiting company. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA in Microsoft. I don't have an idea about the lowest salary package offered, but most of the students got placed. Most of the students got an internship from PAT, which is something college rules. Amazon, PayPal, Microsoft and many other companies recruit students every year.

Placements: Placements at VIT, Chennai went exceptionally well. A large number of students of the computer Science department were placed with packages more than 9LPA. The highest package roughly went to 40L CTC. Most of the companies came for the post of data analyst and software developers.

Placements: The college has strict rules, but it is good while working in the company. The college is well-known for its placements. About 90-95% of the students get placements. It depends on the students' overall performance and grabbing opportunities. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies which visit here are Amazon, Bank of America, etc.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from our college get placed. The highest salary package offered here is 38 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. E&Y, Deloitte, PwC, Bank of America, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. Almost every student who doesn't have any backlog at the time of placements get the internship. Placements will be conducted along with the VIT Vellore campus at Vellore.

Placements: Around 60% to 70% of the students who attended placements got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 42 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered will be around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. About 70% of the students got internship mostly in startups, but some also got in good companies like Microsoft. Top roles offered here are software development.

Placements: More than 90% are placed every year and more than 5000 companies visit across all the streams not only IT companies all other core companies are also visiting our campus. Top companies like Amazon Microsoft, Texas instruments, Bajaj and so on.

Placements: Around 25 to 35% of students got placed in core companies. Some got placed in analytics, and some got placed in IT companies. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Placements: All the students from our course get placed. A number of core companies visit our college for placements are very less. If you are in the CSE department, then you will get an ample number of offers. The average salary package offered in the CSE course ranges between 7-8 LPA. The average salary package offered in the mechanical course was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte and many MNCs visit our college to hire students.

Placements: 70-80% placements. Google, Microsoft, Amazon were placed. The highest salary offered wasc40-50lakhs, the lowest 3-4lakhs CTC and average 5-6 CTC. Salary is same for all the core companies of CSE department. Maximum 80 percentage of students got internship with the top companies and the conversion rate is pretty much better.

Placements: 90% of the students were placed in our course. The highest salary offered was 21LPA. Top recruiting company for our course is Amazon. Top role offered is Software Developer and Business analyst. The lowest package offered is 3.3 LPA. 20% of the students got internship in infosys, IBM and other start ups.

Placements: According to VIT placement record of the college is 100 percent and somehow it is true also, if you are sitting for the placement and you are not having any arrears you will surely get the job. I am a student of computer Science and engineering so I can tell about my branch. The maximum package was around 42 Lacs and the average is nearly 6-7 Lacs. Placements: Nearly 200 students from our course were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Swiggy, Amazon and car industry. The top role offered to the students is legal advisory. In our course, the highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 for 3 years. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 t...

Placements: In my course, there are nearly 150 registered for placements. In that approximately 70 are placed in IT sector and 20 are joining core companies. The highest salary was around 14 Lacs and minimum of 3.5 Lacs. Many top companies were recruiting students like caterpillar, L&T, Nilkamal, maruthi, Bajaj, Tata engineering service.

Placements: Our batch students are not however placed, so the amount cannot be predicted, but 20 LPA of dream offer for other branches can be guessed. L&T was the top recruiting company of our college. NO top roles are offered. Around 5-10% of students get internships in companies like L&T through personal contacts. A fair amount of placements are not provided by the college.
