VIT Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Vandalur

Placements: 70% of the students from my course were placed, but most of the highest packages were from offline interviews. The highest package was 16 LPA, and the lowest was not disclosed. They have not disclosed the exact figure, as this was the first batch to have completed this course. The top recruiters are Tata Motors, Mahindra, Hyundai, and Siemens. Placements: We've heard it's hard and most of the placements are mass recruitments. Not only that, you get office order for the smallest of things like if someone of the opposite gender puts their arm around your shoulder, hence ensuring that you won't get placement.

Placements: The placements in our college are average for CSE, but poor for the other branches. You will be sitting with around 1900 students of Vellore and Chennai during the placements. Out of these 1900, around 100-150 get jobs with a package above 10LPA. Around 500-600 get a package of above 4 LPA, and the rest get recruited in mass recruiters.
