Come only if you get 1st or 2nd category or go to normal colleges with learning good skills.

Placements: Around 75 percent placement. The highest was maybe 56 LPA and the lowest 6 LPA. Google TCS and so on. There are many students who got internships around 56%. The only reason I chose this college was placements; the rest is mid.

Our campus is equipped with modern infrastructure.

Placements: Our campus placements are decent, with average package ranging between 7 lakhs and 8 lakhs. The major recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Microsoft. The big packages given are mostly off campus; the lowest packages range between 3 and 4 Lacs. Most of the students get internships in their field, of which many are paid.

Vit Chennai - your absolute dream college.

Placements: We become eligible for placements around the 6th–7th semester. The placements here are quite good, and they claim 100% placements. Many big MNCs visit and recruit students. The highest on-campus package was 1.2 crores in 2023, and we can expect an average package of around 8 LPA. I will most likely pursue a job after completing my degree. Many companies visit the campus to offer internships and recently, Microsoft and Deshaw provided internship opportunities, so we are confident about securing a...

Amazing faculty members and peaceful environment.

Placements: Most applicants have successfully secured seats at my college. The highest package offered is ₹45 LPA, with the lowest being ₹5 LPA and an average of ₹7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Khaitan & Co and Clutch Group. Many students begin internships from their first year, with the college actively facilitating the process.

Old and under construction hostel blocks.

Placements: Most of the students that go through the placement procedures get placed in one way or another. Mass recruitments, such as 3-5 LPA, are most common. Packages above 15 LPA are very rare and only 2–3 students from each branch get placed in such companies. Overall, the placement rate is high compared to other colleges.

VIT Chennai is overall a great college.

Placements: As per my knowledge, the placement percentage would easily be around 98%. Each course has a different amount of placement but all of them are learning to be positive. Most of the students have a nice offer with them. The highest package as of now is 43 LPA by a B.Tech student of the CSE branch; he was also a winner of many hackathons so that helped him a lot. The lowest, as far as I know, is 5 LPA. Top recruiters would be Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, Zomato, JP Morgan and many more. The n...

The campus area should be increased and the food quality and placement states should increase too.

Placements: 100% placement is claimed, but it's not the reality; only 70% of students get placed. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Meta, along with mass recruiters, come here, and some students secure positions as software engineers while others are in core roles, with an average package of 4 LPA. 80% of students secured internships. The highest package is 96 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA.

VIT - A Place to Learn, A Place to Grow.

Placements: VIT reports that almost 100% of students secure placements through campus placements, with some even receiving pre-placement offers during their third-year internships. The electrical and electronics department at VIT holds a commendable ranking, and the highest package reached around 1.02 CPA for two students in the mechanical department from a company called Motoroq. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Flipkart, PayPal, and Goldman Sachs. Approximately 90% of students secure internship...

Vitc - Is it worth the hype?

Placements: I am currently in first so I don't know about placements but from what my seniors told me I can say that placements are pretty good. A lot of my seniors have grabbed packages of 15 LPA and above. Even though recession is going on for placements still the placements are very good.

Great place to learn, upskill and explore all sides of technology.

Placements: We are the first batch of B.Tech VLSI design and technology, but the Masters placements are really good, as Intel, AMD and many other companies do come to recruit. VLSI being the next big thing in India, it is of very much focus at VIT as many new labs are being made to give industry experience.

A good last option for students who don't want to take a drop year.

Placements: Almost everybody gets placed in <5 LPA jobs. Dream and Super Dream jobs are provided to those with no standing arrears and a good CGPA. This year's placement hasn't been as good as previous years. I will wait for the placement report before making any comments.

Placements are good but if you don't work hard it is tough for you to get placed.

Placements: 70-80% of students are getting placed, with the highest CTC of 54LPA from last year and the minimum is the same as mass recruiter companies package. Mostly all types of companies came to college and also companies who have their presence in South India.
