Good faculty members, bad infrastructure, and decent placements.
Placements: Placements are centralised for all four campuses of VIT. There isn't much discrimination between the campuses, Everything depends upon students' CGPA. If one has a good over 9 CGPA by the end of their third year they are mostly eligible for all the companies. Most of the people here got placed at mass recruiters like TCS, IBM, and Infosys. Try to maintain a good CGPA everything else would be good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great as it is still a developing college, but not that based too one has 2 academic blocks, 6 boys hostel, and 3 ladies hostel. Sports facilities here are decent and one will experience almost all kinds of sports. One has mess and free gym in each hostel block. One paid gym in the SAC. All types of rooms are available. Mess food is decent they have a variety of options available.
Faculty: Faculty members here are constructive some of them have done their PhD from top universities like IITs and NITs. They are approachable if one is interested in research and projects. Course curriculum is like any other college here at VIT one is free to choose their faculty members and timetable. Students have mainly three exams in a semester CAT1, CAT2, and FAT with 15% and 20% of weightage respectively and rest are internals. We also have a lab exam at the end of each semester.
Other: There's a lot of club activities happening all around the year. During March, we have our fest named Vitopia, one of the biggest fests in Andhra Pradesh. Overall, one can enjoy their stay over here.

Don't keep it as the first option.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed. But, most of them are getting placed with less salaries. The type of recruiting companies is also not that good. Very few students get internships. Mine is cybersecurity specialisation in computer science engineering.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure, Wi-Fi classrooms were also good and maintenance of library is also good. One can have good atmosphere of silence and pace over there. Sometimes it will be crowded but sufficient places will be available. Electronic books were also available.
Faculty: Teachers helped a lot but the problem was we didn't try to understand. Concentrating on class and following teachers presentations students can get good grades. Here, students can select their own course and timetable so students can manage their own time to develop their skills.

Review of VIT-AP University.
Placements: I haven't been placed as of now because I'm in my second year. The placement is okay-ish. Not very good or not very bad. Last year (2023), a student got placed in Apple. The highest package might be around 64 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. An internship is something you have to search for yourself.
Infrastructure: There are 5 hostels for men and 2 for women as of now. This campus is under construction. There's a very good library, and the infrastructure is pretty good too. The WiFi in the hostels might be an issue, as might the food there. Hostels are kept clean for the most part.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, I'd say. Some are very bad, some are excellent. So you have to talk to your seniors before you select the faculty during FFCS. You have 3 exams: CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) 1 and 2 and FAT (Final Assessment Test). Both CAT's have a certain weightage, which contributes to your CGPA.

VIT-Andhra Pradesh: Where learning meets community.
Placements: The placement graph is increasing day by day. Here, students can apply to various companies and we have a Career Development Center (Placement Cell) in the university where students get trained for particular interviews by professionals. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Honeywell, etc. The top roles offered in the course are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Business Analyst. The highest package on record was 63 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average pay would be around 7.5 LPA. More than 70% of students got internships, and 90% were placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. The college provides well-equipped labs and classrooms. Each student has their Wi-Fi credentials for the college and hostel separately. The college has a big library where students can access various books, journals, etc. Research scholars get many sample publications which are useful for their research. The food in the hostel is quite good. Here, the students organize a committee to decide the menu for each month. We also have a health center on the campus, which is available 24/7. Students get engaged in various sports activities like intramural and inter-university competitions.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed based on the course the student opted for. Here, the faculty have great experience of above 7+ years. They got their Ph.D. from reputed institutions like IITs, NITs, etc. They help students to innovate new things and help them in developing them. Students explore various industry-related real-time applications, which help them improve knowledge practically rather than theoretically. The semester has 2 mid-exams and ends with the final semester.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in Computer Science and Engineering. The best thing about the course is students can decide his/her timetable and can select the faculty of their choice, which makes students feel comfortable and flexible with the college hours. In the rest of the time, he/she can focus on improving their knowledge in other areas. As the college is away from the main city (Vijayawada), the means of transport must be increased. The college conducts two major events, namely VTAPP (technical) and VITOPIA (cultural).

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: As we have seen from the past 4 years, the campus placements are not very good. There is a very low percentage of students placed this year, about 8% to 10%. It is just like an average JNTU college. Some top companies are IBM, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, TATA, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but mess food is the worst thing ever. I have been in one hostel in each of four years, but the mess food quality or staff management has changed yet. This makes me unhappy with the campus. And also Wi-Fi; they are telling us we have 24/7 Wi-Fi, but it is useless because of the speed.
Faculty: Another of the worst things is faculty as mentors to the students. Faculty up to the teaching and evaluation is okay. But when we came to get leaves from mentors, they didn't know how to communicate with the parents. This makes a student suicidal.

A decent college with good infrastructure and better studies.
Placements: Only 10% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 7 lacs per annum, the average package is 4 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are recruiting. Almost everyone got an internship. The top roles offered are of data analysts.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on campus for our course are good to go. Wi-Fi is fair, computer labs are decent, and classrooms and the library are nice. The quality of food is decent in hostels, and the infrastructure is very good. Medical facilities are fair.
Faculty: The curriculum for our course consists of 120 credits, and the subjects are mostly about our future roles in the company. The rating for the faculty in our college would be 3 out of 5. The difficulty of the semester exams is high compared to other colleges .
Other: The university is very crowded, with a strength of almost 13,000 students, including both boys and girls. The fests are decent, but the sports activities are not fair enough.

Before enrolling in VIT-AP, check in which branch and specialisation you are getting admission. Ex: CSE-CORE, CSE-AI, CSE-Network Security etc. vs CSE, ECE, MECH etc. This is  the most important thing to pay attention to. You won't know its importance until you actually go there. You wil
