This five-year integrated course is a combination of a three-year BSc course at the undergraduate level and a two-year MSc course at the postgraduate level. The course is offered by the School of BioSciences, Engineering, and Technology, a constituent school of VIT Bhopal. 

Students who complete the integrated programme will be awarded an MSc degree in Biotechnology. However, students who qualify for the required credits can choose to exit the program after three years and earn a BSc degree in Biotechnology.
