VIT BCom course admission is merit-based. Hence, the candidates performance in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration. Thus, the aspirants are not required to appear for any entrance examination for selection. However, it is important that the students meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. The minimum eligibility requirement is Class 12 pass with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/other categories/state students).

VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2025 tentatively from April 21 to 27, 2025. The candidates will have to select their preferred slot. VITEEE 2025 application form has to be submitted before the final date for the eligible candidates to be registered for the examination. VIT 2025 will be held as a computer-based test.

No, VIT Vellore does not offer direct admission to BArch programme based on Class 12 scores. Candidates need to possess a valid NATA score to apply. Admission to BTech course is based on VITEEE score. VITEEE is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hour 30 minutes. The paper, includes five sections, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English and, includes a total of 125 questions. The difficulty level of the VITEEE exam is moderate compared to other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Students, who prepare for JEE Main exam, usually find it easier to crack VITEEE, as this exam does not have any negative marking. However, the syllabus of the VITEEE exam varies every year.
