Vellore Institute of Technology offers 66 UG, 58 PG, 15 integrated and two each of Research and M.Tech (Industrial) courses across multiple streams. The top courses of the institute, include BTech, MTech, MBA, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses and graduation is necessary to apply for the PG courses. VIT BCom course admission is merit-based. Hence, the candidates performance in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration. Thus, the aspirants are not required to appear for any entrance examination for selection. However, it is important that the students meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. The minimum eligibility requirement is Class 12 pass with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/other categories/state students).

VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2025 tentatively from April 21 to 27, 2025. The candidates will have to select their preferred slot. VITEEE 2025 application form has to be submitted before the final date for the eligible candidates to be registered for the examination. VIT 2025 will be held as a computer-based test.

Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. Apart from the qualification, candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:

• Applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO
• Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.

Vellore Institute of Technology will announce the VITMEE 2025 exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam dates will be released along with the official brochure. The exam authority will conduct the VITMEE 2025 exam in online computer-based mode. There will be 100 multiple choice questions in VITMEE exam. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. BCA admission at VIT University is merit-based (based on aggregate obtained by eligible candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam). The shortlisted candidates are called for a counselling (virtual or physical) round. The final admission to BCA course subjects to merit list preparation based on cut off decided by VIT Vellore as per seat availability.
