IIM Bangalore Fee Structure
The annual programme fee for the MBA course at IIM Bangalore for each academic year varies. In 2021–23 the PGP fees for IIM Bangalore was INR 23 lakhs. This fee was hiked to INR 24.5 lakhs with 2022-24 admission session. IIM Bangalore has released the fee structure of 2024-26 admission cycle with INR 26 lakhs. The amount of fee mentioned here is inclusive of tuition fees and GST. Candidates will have to pay the refundable caution deposit as well.

Q: Can I get financial aid at IIM Bangalore?
Yes, IIMB extends financial aid to students in need of assistance. The objective of the Financial Aid Policy at IIMB is to ensure that no student is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. All PGP students with annual family incomes below INR 8 LPA are eligible to apply for financial aid. Other students with severe financial difficulties arising from sudden unforeseen circumstances are also considered. The Financial Aid Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and the quantum of aid. In the first stage, the students are given a financial status score based on four criteria: Annual Gross Household Income (including income of the student if employed before joining IIMB and outstanding loans if any, provided they were not taken for conspicuous consumption), household savings, real estate assets, and other assets. Based on this score, some of the students were called for personal interaction with a faculty panel. Based on the weighted average of these two scores, applicants are provided with 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, or 20% financial aid.

Financial Aid Policy at IIM Bangalore
IIM Bangalore offers financial aid and scholarships to aspirants in need, aiming to propagate management studies among all strata of candidates. Keeping this in mind, IIMB has instituted a Financial Aid Policy for aspirants willing to apply for MBA programmes at the institute.
Need-based scholarships are offered to students with a family income below INR 8 LPA. The Financial Aid Committee undertakes a two step process to evaluate the awardees and the total amount of fee waiver to be given. The first step is to score a candidate basis the Annual family income and number of dependents in the family. On the basis of the score obtained, the candidate is further called for a panel discussion. The second step is to evaluate the candidate basis their score and PI round. Based on the weightage of both the scores, applicants are provided 20% to 100% of tuition fee waiver.
Furthermore, students at IIM Bangalore are also awarded several merit-based and merit cum need-based scholarships. Such scholarships are awarded to candidates on the basis of their performance during the course term. Societe Generale Global Solution Centre India Scholarship |
The scholarship covers the complete tuition fee of PGP programme. Candidates are selected basis their PI with the Society Generate. |
Siddhartha Padam Award |
An amount of INR 50,000 is offered to a PGP student who is on the director's merit list and scores the highest CGPA in Economics, Finance & Accountancy core courses in the first year. |
IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch Scholarship |
INR 75,000, a medallion and certificate is offered to a differently-abled woman enrolled in PGP courses. The scholarship will be provided to a differently able male candidate if there is no such female candidate to claim the same. |
Runwal Education Trust Scholarship |
An amount of INR 1 lakh, a medallion and a certificate is offered to a PGP student based on their academic performance in the first year and their financial needs. |
Hindustan Unilever/T Thomas Scholarship |
This is a merit cum means scholarship offered to one of the second year PGP students with an award of INR 1 lakh. |
Yes Bank Scholarship |
An amount of INR 2 lakh is offered to one of the top 20 students as per the admission criteria, who belongs to the top 20 per cent batch based on CGPA and are members of any of the student committee at IIM B |
NTPC Scholarship |
An amount of INR 48,000 is offered to reserved category candidates who are in their second year and have passed their first-year examinations in a single attempt. |
Employment in Social Sector Scholarship |
Awardees of this scholarship are entitled to reimbursement of one-third of the course fee at the end of each year of employment for the first three years in the social sector. |
