What is MAT?
Management Aptitude Test or MAT exam, is one of the top MBA entrance exams besides CAT, XAT, CMAT and SNAP. MAT is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) four times a year i.e. February, May, September and December. Candidates planning to pursue MBA/PGDM can choose the examination phase as per their preparation and apply for the same at AIMA MAT website. MBA admission through MAT includes shortlisting of candidates bases on their MAT result, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

MBA Colleges Accepting MAT Score: Overview
MAT exam is similar to other MBA entrance exams, i.e. it is a speed-based test. The canddidates are assessed on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation as well as knowledge of English Language and General Awareness. - Upon declaration of MAT 2024 result, AIMA sends the candidate's exam score to the five institutes that the student had selected in the MAT application form.
- Registered colleges shortlist the candidates based on MAT score and invite them for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview.
- Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of MAT cut offs individually fixed by the colleges to select candidates.
