Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) is one of the top-ranked Engineering Institutes in Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1985 and has managed to become one of the most sought-after Deemed-to-be Universities in India. Recently, India Today ranked HITS at the second position among top Indian Deemed-to-be Universities 2020. 

The Institute offers more than 100 courses at UG, PG and PhD level. These courses are offered in diverse streams, such as Management, Engineering, Law, Design, Science, Architecture and many others. The campus houses 13 schools that impart education in various courses and specialisations. Apart from the full-time courses, HITS also offers distance learning programmes. It has a well-established Centre for Online and Distance Learning that offers five programmes at UG and PG level, namely BBA, BCA, BCom, MBA and MCA. Admission to all the courses is subject to eligibility requirements of the respective course.

Centre for Online and Distance Learning, HITS Admission 2021: MBA, MCA

The Centre offers an MBA programme under eight specialisations. MCA on the other hand, offer one specialisation. The duration of MBA and MCA is two years. In order to be eligible, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in the relevant stream. Admission to both the courses is merit-based. Centre for Online and Distance Learning, HITS Admission 2021: BBA, BCA, BCom

On the undergraduate level, the Centre offers three-year BBA, BCA, and BCom programmes. Each of these three programs is divided into three specialisations. Applicants for BBA and BCom must have completed Class 12 or equivalent in any subject, while candidates for BCA must have completed Class 12 in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Centre for Online and Distance Learning, HITS Application Process 2021

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science application process for its distance learning courses is conducted online as well as offline. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the online application process:

  1. Visit the application portal of the Institute www.apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in
  2. Click on the 'Apply Now' tab against the desired course
  3. Register with candidate's name, email ID and phone number
  4. Acknowledge the verification mail and login with the same credentials
  5. Fill in the personal as well as the academic details of the candidate
  6. Upload the required scanned documents
  7. Make a payment of Rs 1,200 through net banking or debit/ credit card
  8. Review the application and click on 'Submit'

For offline submission of the admission form, candidates can download the same from the official website, fill it and post/courier it with the required documents and DD of Rs 1,200 to the below-mentioned address:
