On September 20th, 2018, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology at AU organised an industrial tour of the National Small Industries Corporation Technical Service Center, a Ministry of MSME and Government of India enterprise that is ISO 9001:2015 certified. The purpose of the tour with the ME 4th, 3rd, and 2nd-year students was to provide them with a genuine understanding of how business operations operate and to further student learning beyond the classroom so that they could acquire both theoretical concepts and practical applications of technical knowledge.
