Fee Benefits Offered by NITs - Category-wise
NITs in India also offer tuition-fee-related benefits to candidates across various categories. For economically backward students claiming waiver of tuition fees, candidates have to produce the Income Certificate of the family issued by the competent authority of the State Government every year afresh. The admission to the B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. JoSAA releases category-wise and round-wise opening and closing cut-offs/ranks for admissions to BTech and Dual degree programmes in the NITs.
