Review on CMR Institute of Technology.

Placements: 80-90% placement was seen in the last few years. TCS recruits the majority of engineers in this college. Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, Mu Sigma are few more companies which recruit in bulk. The placement cell is very active. Decent placement and decent salary could be expected.

Infrastructure: CMRIT is well known for its infrastructure. Modernized touch and locality attract the students from different parts of India. The campus has got Cafe Coffee Day, hotdogs inside the campus. The library is the main attraction. It is located near Marathalli, ITPL road.

Faculty: The quality of teaching in this college could be appreciated. The strength of the institute is its faculty. Many of the faculty members hold doctorates. Other lecturers have many years of teaching experience. The classroom and laboratory learning is very good. Co-curriculum includes many activities. There are many inter departmental clubs which facilitate the students' participation on different events. is the college annual fest.

Other: The college timing is from 8 am to 12.40 pm and 2 laboratory activities from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm twice a week. The laboratories are well maintained. The college, with a group of instructions, was registered as a university in recent years. In 2012, Dr. APJ Adbul Kalam visited the college for convocation.

Eligibility is the Qualification of DCET Other eligibility criteria present here is Candidate must have passed Diploma in the relevant field of Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University. And, the Admission Process here is through counseling based on the rank obtained in DCET.
