JEE Mains 2025 Answer Key by NTA: Release Date, Link, Marks vs Rank, Qualifying Marks

NTA will release JEE Mains response sheet of candidates along with the answer key. Candidates can download their response sheets for JEE Mains 2025 from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and date of birth. JEE Main candidate response sheet mentions answers marked by the students on the exam day for all the questions. Candidates can use JEE response sheets to calculate their expected scores in the exam before the announcement of results by comparing them with the answer key.

Candidates need to follow the official marking scheme by NTA to calculate their scores. Once the JEE Main answer key 2025 is released, candidates can calculate their score by using the below-mentioned marking scheme.

The facility to challenge the JEE Main Answer Key 2024 will be open for a period of 2-3 days. Candidates can use the JEE Main Answer Key challenge facility available online under their respective JEE Mains login 2025. Candidates need to pay a processing fee of INR 200 per question using credit/debit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM service. The fee is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is approved by NTA, the fee is refunded. The procedure to challenge the answer key is:

• Log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password

• At the Candidates’ Login Screen, select- “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response”

• For Recorded Response, select Question Number, Recorded Answer, and Claimed Answer. Then, add to the claims list

• For the Answer Key, select the question ID/Answer ID then, add to the claims list

• Make the payment by Debit/Credit/Net banking

Candidates can calculate their probable score using the JEE Main answer key 2024. Students need to follow the below steps to download it:

• Candidates can use their OMR sheet/JEE Main response sheet to compare the marked responses with the answers given in the JEE Main answer key.

• For correct answers, candidates will be awarded four marks.

• For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

• If a candidate doesn’t attempt a question, that question will not be evaluated and the candidate will secure zero marks for that particular question.

• Based on this marking scheme, candidates can calculate and get a rough estimate of the total marks they will be securing in JEE Main.
