Review of Acharya Institute of Technology.
Placements: About 100% of students get placements from our college. There is no worry about placements because it is a well-known and reputed college in Bangalore. Some recruiting companies are Mahindra and Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Tata, Honda, Hyundai, L&T, Infosys, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Students need not worry about the hostel because there are good and well-maintained rooms, beds, good food, a mess, and 24X7 Wi-Fi. Food and water are inspected before being served to students. There are hygienic rooms, bathrooms, etc. They provide clean water. The warden is good.
Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members. They are aware of education and the mentality of students. They are friendly. Everything is well-organised. Male and female teachers are available.
Other: We conduct Bengaluru's biggest fest "Achary Habba" in the month of March. It is the best. There is no ragging on campus, and it is safe for women. Boys and girls are treated equally on this campus.

The campus has good facilities, including Wi-Fi.
Placements: About 20% of our batchmates are placed. Some have been placed in IT companies. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Around 90% of students have interned at reputed companies. The college also asked us to submit the internship certificate and report. We also have to give a presentation on it.
Infrastructure: Acharya Institute of Technology is well known for its infrastructure and wide campus. Our department is facilitated by labs. We also have a sports department, and every year, we have the Acharya Premier League, which where teaching staff also take part in it. Every year we will celebrate Acharya Habba.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated and help us get good academic results. Our college is affiliated with VTU. We have VTU exams every semester. The question paper is prepared by VTU professors. The syllabus doesn't get us ready for the needs of the industry; we have to work as trainees.
Other: Our college is well-known for its campus.

Our college does not provide good placements, but apart from that, everything is good.
Placements: Around 10% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Most companies were startups, so packages were below industry standards. The department provided unpaid internships. Most of the students got jobs on their own with referrals.
Infrastructure: The whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled, but it was restricted. Students can't use social media. Labs were great. We had every mechanical part for automobiles, but there were some missing tools. Classrooms were basic. The library was nice, with every facility available. Hostels were nice. All amenities were available. We also had a curfew of 10.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and friendly, so I never had an issue with them. The curriculum was outdated, so students used to learn new things by themselves. Exams were easy. The grading system was not good. Students can't score well. Some semester exams were difficult compared to others. Students may get backlogs. Around 80% of students passed on their first try.

Acharya institute of technology Bangalore.
Placements: It has large number of placement. So many of my seniors are got placed in Bosch, Mahendra, Tata motors, Ford, Ashoka lelands, etc. Every year we got nice placements from college. Now recently one of my senior got placed in ksrtc and he is earning nicely.
Infrastructure: Huge infrastructure with in 120 acres. Individual blocks for individual courses. Inside campus cycle is provided which makes you reach your department or block. Bus facility is there. Well furnished labs and classrooms. Clean and peace environment inside the campus.
Faculty: Highly professional lecturer's with helpful manner. No need to hesitate for asking doubts or any new ideas. Lecturers are so friendly and supportive. They will take for industrial visit for better understanding of subjects. Even placement training will be conducted and help students GET over it.
Other: Every year college fest will be done where different department's students will involve and make it successful.

Not the best, but it's better than many other colleges!
Placements: The placements in my college were good for those who were in core branches like computer science, mechanical, IS and EC only. I was from an automobile background. I got only one company for the placement. I would recommend people not to totally believe only on placements and make their own arrangements for getting a job. The salary offered was also at the average level of 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Oh! This one is a must share. There are as many as 20 movies shot here in Kannada and other languages. It has one of the best infrastructures for college in Bangalore. You will get to see so many good views in and around the college. The college management keeps it very clean and tidy. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus and the labs are fully equipped. There is a large central library which has lakhs of books at its disposal. The hostel is also very good and it serves very good food.
Faculty: Lecturers are good with optimum knowledge and there are many lecturers who have pursued their Ph.D. But the lecturers in my branch were not that great when it comes to the course completion and sharing great knowledge. We didn't get much exposure to the industry when we were in college. There were no extracurricular activities.
Other: Other than that! It offers almost all the branches which are available in VTU. But the student should make wise decisions while selecting. The college is little towards the expensive side. If you are selecting the management seat then be ready to spend lakhs and lakhs for your completion.
