Candidate must have obtained above mentioned marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. OR 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. OR 50% marks in aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied. Candidates belonging to the SC or ST community must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examinations, as the case may be. Students, who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or its equivalent from the All India Boards/Councils or State Boards/Councils including Open Schools and vocational studies, are also eligible.

It is one of the best colleges for general UG course in 24 Parganas (N).
Placements: APC is one of the oldest graduation colleges. Many students from our batch, as well as, previous batch also got placed in many private industries as well as many government organisations with an excellent pay scale. They were offered with moderate positions in the industry.
Infrastructure: As our college was one of reputed UG course college, it had well-equipped laboratory and classroom facilities. Our college had a sufficient number of classrooms. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled, and we had good library facilities. The library also had a sufficient number of books.
Faculty: Professors of our college are highly educated from well-known colleges and universities. Their behaviour is too good and polite. They taught us beyond the books. Not only theoretical, but they also gave us practical knowledge. They also help us to groom our soft skills.
Other: Every year our college organises cultural fest, sports programme and many more.

Placements: There are lots of placements in different streams at APC College. Especially, in language groups such as English, Bengali or Sanskrit. Lots of multinational companies will offer you for a great job such as TCS, Wipro and many more. You must get great placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is also quite good at APC College. Free Wi-Fi service available for every student. It is also a sports-centric college in West Bengal. It is a well-facilitated college under west Bengal state university. It is accredited under NAAC. You must get admission here for a great future.
Faculty: The teachers of this college are also more friendly than other colleges. They teach us equally as the faculty of the remarkable universities. Their teaching methods are also remarkable for the students in different streams.
Other: It has a college campus where every student used to relax there. This college held lots of events on their college campus. They conduct extracurricular activities to the students.

Its an honest review.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placement services, which is rare. The course is very tough, and the papers they set are very difficult. They need to mandate attendance, and students need to attend lectures to keep up with the course.
Infrastructure: The college is old and in need of renovation. The food is okay, but the canteen needs renovation.They have renovated the bathrooms, which is great, and they should now take a look at the classrooms and canteen.
Faculty: The course is relevant, but it is very tough. The semester exams were very tough, and the questions were really hard. The college is very strict about the passing percentage, and students get backlogs very often, which can be demotivating.
Other: I chose this course because it is offered by the University of Calcutta, which is one of the best universities in India. The only thing I don't like about this course is that it doesn't provide placements. Other than that, everything is good.

One of the best colleges ever.
Placements: The placements for my batchmates have been great. Also, few of the seniors got great placements even in foreign countries. For me, since I scored moderately, I’m still under the West Bengal Circle, but the role this college played in my development cannot be described with words.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has high-speed Wi-Fi enabled. Smart-classes are common among science and art departments. High-quality projectors, wireless connectivity and screen sharing has been a day to day task during my college days. Basically, I am an indoor kind of geeky person, so table tennis board was my best friend at the college.
Faculty: The best thing about this college is the approach to studies of each respective faculty members. I have been well-groomed and furnished with all the adequate information and skills from the highly qualified faculty members. All of them are very much professional and extraordinary skillful.
Other: I have been a part of the event organizing committee, so trust me, events are huge. The budget is huge, and the fun also gets huge in the college.
