It is a very good college for diploma courses. As it is the no.1 college for diploma in west bengal.
Placements: In my course there are total of nearly 150 students. Including 1st, 2nd, 3rd year. The highest package in my course is nearly 360000-400000 per annum, average is nearly 250000 and the lowest is nearly 150000 per annum. Top recruiting companies are ITC, BENGAL BEVERAGES PRIVATE LIMITED, NESTLE etc. Maximum number of students have got internship in companies like, Indian dairy products limited, Raja Marie etc. Top roles are like food quality checking engineer, lab technician etc.
Infrastructure: Labs, library, classroom, canteen, play ground, washroom etc. are available in my college. The quality of food in our canteen is quite good and hygienic. And there is mess available in low price for students coming from other cities. The seniors are very helpful they will help you in all things.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They help us a lot. We have very disciplined lab classes and theory classes which made us ready to go in industries. If you properly attend classes then it is easy for you to get a good marks in exam. The pass percentage in exam is 40%.
Other: The best thing is that it is a very interesting subject to learn. We know about foods which we eat daily. The industrial infrastructure would be quite better. There are so many events in our college.

There is free Wi-Fi for the students, a big playground is also there inside of the college where students can take part in various outdoor activities. There are 2 labs for the food technology department. The canteen is available and the food quality is average and value for money. A big central library is there, from which students can find any books related to their respective course curriculum.
Faculty: Every teacher is well qualified and has many years of industry working experience. Teachers are very helpful in any problem. They teach us very well so we can understand very difficult problems easily. The course curriculum is well structured and it helps us to learn so many new things.
