Innovative College and labs.
Placements: I am a 2026 passing-out batch student, and there is a good record of placement in our college. Almost 70-80% get placed in their fourth year, and the college also helps us to go for off-campus placements. Top recruiting companies like Accenture and other IT companies come.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for our course and hostel is very well spacious and air-conditioned. We all study in a very good environment. There are computer labs, an AICTE idea lab, and many more labs where we can perform experiments and increase our knowledge. The food is also good.
Faculty: There is a good curriculum for the new industry needs, and our teachers teach us very well all the curriculum. We have different kinds of teachers, and all of them help us very efficiently with all our needs. Also, the exams are held at the end of each semester.

Review about JIS College of Engineering.
Placements: In my course, 95% of students get placed. In 2022, the highest package of the ECE branch is INR 10 lakhs per year, the lowest package is INR 3 lakhs, and the average package is INR 4.5 lakhs per year. The top recruiting companies for ECE course are Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Accenture, Infosys, InfoTech, etc. In the 2023 batch of this course, no one got an internship but 65% of students in their 2nd and 3rd years got an internship. The top roles offered in our course are web developer and data security.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our course are so good, like free Wi-Fi (35 mbps) and classrooms. In this college, flipped classes are here that are absent from any other college in WB. Libraries are also good and digital libraries are also there. Hostels are average, our college canteen is good, and the mess outside the college is also good. Sports and games are held at our college in the afternoon.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are so helpful. They always help us, even though the mentors in every group are so cooperative and helpful. From the beginning, this college prepares the students for industrial activities. The 2022 semester exams are not so difficult because students are always prepared for them. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because, from it, you will learn software and hardware. The best thing about our course is that you can learn about many types of skills, like software and hardware.

It is a very good college for low-rank students.
Placements: This college is the best option for low-rank students after IEM, Heritage, and Techno. In this college, the best streams are IT and ECE. I would suggest not opting for the core branches because placements are not good. If you are a good student then you will get a decent salary package. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good for the ECE course. The food served in the hostel is good. Our campus atmosphere is not good. It is better to stay in the mess that is available beside this college. There are many messes available within 5 minutes of walking distance.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are great engineers. If you study properly then they will be very supportive. Few teachers are not good. We also get many suggestions from them so it is very easy to score better marks in exams. There is very less competition in this college.
Other: Seniors are very helpful in our college. I would not recommend this college to students if they are expecting above 10 LPA from on-campus. This campus is free from ragging. There are many clubs like music clubs, dance clubs, and drama clubs. We enjoy extra curriculum activities very much in this college.

First Come, First Serve is our mantra .
Placements: There is 90% placements, with an average package of 4.5 LPA. Every year ECE branch is offered job from companies such as Cognizant and TCS. For overall placement, the minimum package is 4LPA and maximum package is 24LPA. There are also vast job roles, based on individual skills.
Infrastructure: There are separate buildings for Library, Academics, Exams, and Self-Study. With a 24*7 Wi-Fi service, and an exceptional floor dedicated to innovative learning, inside specialised Flip-Classrooms, students improve their skills.
Faculty: With the pressure of day to day tasks with accurate schedules, and no special support for grade increment in semester exams, students have to rely on the teachers to seek guidance. Semester exams are strictly supervised.
Other: Multiple events, International Technical Tours, Industrial Visits, Signature events by renowned scientists are being conducted.

Our college is good.
Placements: In the previous batch, around 85% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Classes are well-designed with Wi-Fi. Labs are equipped with modern instruments as per the current curriculum. The library and the book bank together have around 98,000 volumes of books. A hostel building is good and compatible with one locker, one desk and chair, and a balcony. There is a common room in the hostel. Mess food is better than other colleges. Medical facilities are available in the medical room with the doctor. The college conducts various sports and games, including both indoor and outdoor ones like volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, billiards, table tennis, carom, chess, etc.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members are both qualified and experienced. This college is the first to introduce the concept of flipped learning and has many flipped classrooms. This college provides quality education to its students. The B.Tech. course in this college gives the maximum satisfaction as the college makes you ready for your placement until the final year. Semester exams are simple to pass if you work hard in class.
Other: I chose a B.Tech. in ECE at JISCE. The ECE department is an all-scope branch from which you can go to core companies as well as IT companies. The government sector offers numerous opportunities. I would prefer to see more programming language subjects. Every year, the college hosts a festival and a technology festival. Students can easily apply for scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS, AIKYASHREE, BSP, etc. Students can also avail themselves of student bank loans for their studies, like the WBSCC and DRCC. There are many clubs in this college, like NCC, NSS, photography, music, dance, coding, trekking, drama, etc.
