Really good Infrastructure and placements in 2024.
Placements: This is how the university secured around of 2500 placements for the entire university. For engineering, we got around 700 placements; for our mechanical branch, we also got good placements. Many core and technical companies like Accenture, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, HCL, IBM, Infosys, etc. are recruiting. The college even provides well-rounded training for our students who are interested in higher studies.
Infrastructure: We have good labs and libraries for our college. The college has separate blocks for the several departments. We have a university area of around 500 acres. We are served good food in the hostels and the infrastructure is good, but they are renovated for small changes every year.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified from the top institutes in India, like IIT's and NIT's. The curriculum is changed according to what the current outside industries require. The college sets the best standard question papers for the exams.
Other: Here we have the best placements for the core branches. But the college festival happens only once a year. The campus connectivity and campus surroundings are very good. Here we also have other activities like NCC and NSS, which are included in the curriculum.

Review of Andhra University College of Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Placements: The placement percentage from core companies was low. The percentage increased when we included software or service companies. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the library is the standout feature. The hostel facilities are not exceptional. There are plenty of opportunities to relax and engage in sports activities. There is a medical facility with a doctor for any health needs.
Faculty: Our teachers were knowledgeable, but they were often too busy to come to class regularly. The curriculum was relatively flexible and not very congested. The exams were of top quality, with challenging question papers that tested our analytical skills. Exams are difficult, but they help us to develop essential skills for our future careers.

Excellent faculty with excellent infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: 50% students get placements either in core or in computer side, remaining generally chose higher studies. The highest package up to 24 Lacs, The average is 3 Lacs. For mechanical from TATA, tech Mahindra etc. Companies and steel plant are the top recruiting companies. 70% students get internship offers.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, hostel facility is above average. Food available in hostel is good, in canteen, all types of snacks are available. For sports, big ground and gymnasium with equipment are available. Medical facilities are average and if there is any emergency, then they will take you to a big hospital.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and they share their experience. The curriculum is good but as the technology is changing rapidly, there should be more extra topics. Semester exams are concept oriented, if you know concepts, then they will be easy for you.
Other: Apart from studies, your social skills will get develop with this course. There is a saying if you know how to live in university you can live anywhere, that is true in case of Andhra University, .

Satisfied because of infrastructure and facilities and library.
Placements: Almost 40 percentage of students placed in the campus placement. The highest package was 6 lacs per annum for the ITC company and the lowest was 3.5 CTC for Infosys. In my batch companies for recruitment are like core companies - L & T, ITC, vedantha, medha servo motors software - TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS. 90 percentage of students got internship ( but not paid internship), from companies like RINL ( Visakhapatnam Steel Plant), BHEL, HSL ( Hindustan shipyard limited) and also we have seimens lab in my college and we learn some software like NX cad, robotics, catia, matlab. Mostly related to mechanical engineering roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Coming to the lab facilities, it is same like all colleges, but we have some extra lab facilities like CNC machine, material testing machines, metrology equipment. Coming to the hostel, very good infrastructure, each room is allotted for two members and mess food was good compared to the other hostels ( according to my personal experience). We have hospital in the campus the first aid is provided at the hospital. We have a big ground in the college and have basketball court and gym facilities are there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but not all teachers. 50 percentage of teachers are from IITs. Teaching quality is ok some professors are good and most of the time student spend the time in the library for watching NPTEL videos. We have to do some internships and learn some software to make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult but they allotted marks for mid exams, and assignments. Minimum 5 CGPA is required to pass .
Other: I got scholarship during my B.tech ( not from college) but from one foundation called north south foundation ( yearly 20000) it helps me lot for my hostel fee and all.

Really good placements and faculty for the core branches.
Placements: The best core placements in our college are with seniors, and most faculty come to our college with their best experience. There is a healthy atmosphere with green scenery. The best buildings and a ragging-free campus. This campus has a newly constructed A-Hub and new digital labs. The highest package is 84.42 LPA.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is good, with newly opened rooms for self-supporting students and for regular students the hostel is not so good but also not so bad. The campus has many canteens and food stalls for the students and we have the best work equipment for us.
Faculty: The senior faculty members come to our college with more than 15 to 20 years of experience and we, the foreign students from all over the world, have the best exposure here. The examinations held here are very strict. The semester and midterm exams went well, but the syllabus was not discussed at the time.
Other: We have the best equipment for mechanical engineering and the best workshops for us. But the events here do happen; they happen only once in a while.
