Student review for Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Placements: The college has average placements. The highest package was INR 38 LPA this year, which was an off-campus hire by Mercedes-Benz for an intern in the Electronics and Communication department. Many other departments have had decent placements. Recruiting companies include Infosys, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite poor. The labs have old components, like in the communication laboratory, but many other labs are good, like the VLSI lab. There are mainly two canteens and bakeries. Stationary shops are also there. The hostel is good. The boys hostel is nearby, and the girls hostel is far away.
Faculty: The curriculum follows that of VTU, even the exams. The faculty members are highly educated, with many of them being Ph.D. holders. Faculty members in physics, chemistry, and math are highly skilled in teaching. The department faculty members are not that satisfactory in their teaching.
Other: I chose the course because of the keen interest that I had in this domain.

The faculty is good, but not all teachers are that efficient and good at teaching.
Placements: Above 7 CGPA students were placed The highest package was INR 38 LPA, and the lowest was INR 5 LPA. Most got jobs at Mistral and Benze as data analysts. They have good placements and would do workshops for the pre-placement to build a resume and answer the aptitude tests.
Infrastructure: There are good labs and classrooms with the basic facilities, and even computers with internet access are available. In the hostel, there is good food available, which is good but does not have free Wi-Fi. There are very good sports available on campus.
Faculty: The teachers are good and knowledgeable enough to clear any type of doubt and will also tell you the questions that would come in VTU exams. The teachers prepare students in such a way that they answer questions, do not give marks easily, and correct as per the scheme.

Chronicles of BIT: it’s a very average college for average people like me.
Placements: The percentage of placed students is not 100%, but if you prepare properly for the placements, you will be placed with companies like Infosys, HP, Ola, and Qualcomm. The average package is 10 LPA, while the maximum is 54 LPA and the minimum is 4 LPA. The placement is based only on your own ability and preparation.
Infrastructure: There is absolutely no campus life; the hostels are very poor. The canteen is just fine; there is no ground for sports. People who love sports should not come to this college as there is no sports facilities. The library is very good but the network on campus is very, very poor; there is no network connection.
Faculty: The faculty is not that bad except for some teachers; everyone else is very good at their field. The course is well thought out, although it is VTU affiliated and follows the curriculum which VTU provides. The modifications done are actually quite useful.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Around 75-78% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 38 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Robert Bosch, Samsung, Cisco, Accenture, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Our college has a 7-storeyed building. Hostel is very good. The food quality is not good. The boys' hostel is 70 meters away from our main campus. Girls' hostel is located at JP Nagar. Free bus facility is available in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Around 6-7 associate professors are available in our college. Assistant professors are highly skilled. The teaching quality is average. They are good at suggesting ideas for projects and internships.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Students who have good skills got good placement opportunities. Boeing, Cisco, Fidelity, etc., visit our college. Around 80-90% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college gives less importance to sports. The hostel facility is good. Around 3-4 students can stay in each room. The hostel rooms have Wi-Fi and fans. Our canteen is good. It provides varieties of food items. It provides North Indian and South Indian dishes. Classrooms are good. Our college provides medical facilities. KIMS Hospital is near our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are easy if we know all subjects well. The pass criterion is above 5 CGPA. Students must score 19 marks out of 40 in internal exams, and 21 marks out of 60 in external exams.
Other: Our college encourages us in our studies. There is a great demand for the VLSI design course. This course can help us to enter into the IT field and core electronics field.
