Barasat Government College is good, if you are just for your degree.

Placements: This course is in high demand nowadays, and it helps to develop multiple skills during these 3 years, which prevents one from lagging behind in the upcoming genre of industry. Our college does not offer on-campus placements, but thanks to this course, off-campus placements can be faced.

Infrastructure: Labs are somewhat well-equipped. Every time we try to take the reading for any analogue circuit, the potentiometer stops working, and most of the monitors are broken. Teachers are somewhat knowledgeable, but more often they provide only bookish knowledge rather than practical skills.

Faculty: The faculty is okay and the teachers are cooperative. Moreover, the exams are somewhat standard, and the course is also a bonus for students who are preparing themselves for industry. The course provides more of what we call theoretical knowledge; practical knowledge is something that we need to gather on our own.

Other: This course is in demand in the market more than any other course and it helps to develop industry skills and gives a lot of free time which can be utilised to do some more productive stuff.
