Infrastructure: The college has an average infrastructure, with decent classrooms, labs, and hostels. While the hostel rooms are old, the mess serves decent food, and the sports facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers are generally well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing good teaching quality. However, some students mention that some teachers might not be effective in explaining certain concepts.

Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is considered to be relevant, covering fundamental topics in computer science. However, some students find that the first year syllabus covers similar subjects for all branches, which might be redundant.

Placements: Placements are relatively good, with around 70-80% of students getting placed. The highest package offered was INR17 LPA, while the average package was around INR5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, IBM, Wipro, TCS, JIO, and L&T.

My college is my pride and it is a decent college .
Placements: The college gives very good placement opportunities. It has some kind of tie-up with prestigious and renowned companies like TCS, Jio, Airtel, etc. This college gives an average package of 8 lacs per annum, and the highest package is somewhere about 18-20 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure facilities. It provides basic amenities and facilities like Wi-Fi labs, a spacious classroom, and a huge variety of books found in the library. Since I am a day scholar, I don't have much idea about college facilities, but as far as I have heard from my friends, facilities are decent.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is highly knowledgeable and has many years of experience. They are highly educated and provide deep knowledge about any topic to students; they ear every doubt of students so that no doubt further arises in their mind, so all in all, this college is very nice.
Other: The campus life at Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg is very nice. It is spacious and covers a campus area of somewhere about 300 to 350 acres. There are fests like Ojas Smart India Hackathon, etc. happening in college.

Get a chance to become a BITIAN.
Placements: The placement of this college is not so good. Only a few companies visit this college. The average placement of this college is 4 lakhs. The companies which visit this college are Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, Bhilai Steel Plant, and many mid-cap companies. Apart from this, some mining-related companies also visit this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well-maintained. We have very advanced labs. The hardware labs of this college are the best among other colleges in the entire state. The condition of the hostel is a bit average. Our college provides all facilities such as free Wi-Fi, library services, digital classrooms, and so on.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and highly experienced. The faculty of this college will help you in every possible way they can. Each semester has three exams, which include two class tests and one end-sem exam. The college exams are not tough, and the minimum passing mark is 35.
Other: Our annual fest is Ojas.

    Satisfaction due to poor guidance.
Placements: Placement scenario is decreasing day by day. Cognizant and Accenture are the two top companies which give good packages and recruit people. But the percentage of students getting placement is below 60%, and the development as well as guidance is not so good.
Infrastructure: I took Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, but the college is much more like a school. You have to come to college and attend boring classes; there is no time for side coding or skill development. If we bunk classes, then they will call the parents. The girls' hostel is out of the campus, 2 km away. There is no facility for traveling as well as very poor infrastructure of the hostel. Even hostel food was good when I was in the 1st year, but it is now very downgraded.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, you can ask doubts whenever you want to. But they use old teaching style, which makes the class very boring. The course curriculum is up to the mark, not so good but not bad as well. Students have to spend extra time to build skills as not much industry-ready guidance is provided.

    Infrastructure and placements are good.
Placements: In Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg the lowest salary package offered is around 4 LPA-6 LPA. Currently, 60% of students got placed from our branch. Many companies offer placements, such as TCS, Accenture, Flipkart, etc. Many students secured internships in IITs or NITs and received stipends.
Infrastructure: In our college, all labs are fully equipped and every classroom has separate projectors. Wi-Fi speed is also fast in labs and classrooms. The food quality in the mess is not great, but canteen is awesome. There is a separate medical room for any injuries or sickness.
Faculty: Our professors provide proper guidance not only for syllabus but also in other activities. They properly guide students. Course also help students gain practical knowledge. Semester exams are a bit difficult. Passing marks in all semesters is 35.
Other: BIT, Durg hosts Ojas fest which is quite popular in other colleges.

    This college is very good.
Placements: First, we need to take the exam for CG PET (Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test) or JEE Main to enroll in the college. The highest salary package is around 16 LPA, the average package is around 5 LPA-6 LPA. And the lowest salary package for the college is around 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are neat and clean, making them suitable for studying. Labs are also well-maintained, neat, and clean. Wi-Fi facilities are available at all times. The canteen and hostel are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and polite with all students. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with a minimum passing percentage of 35%. Teachers are also very helpful to the students.

College is not that bad. You can do well if you work hard yourself.
Placements: The placement is quite average, and the highest package is seen among CS/IT students, and the average package for overall branches combined is 4-6 Lacs, where the highest package offered to CSE branch students was 12 LPA, yet the 30% placement rate is average among all branches.
Infrastructure: The building and hostel are not high-teaching like high-end private colleges. The hostel rooms are pretty bad since its an old college, and hence students face issues with cleanliness. Wi-Fi and RO water are provided, and labs and classrooms are well maintained as compared to other mid-end colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are cooperative but not understanding; regular attendance is demanded by the principal of the college; regular practicals and classes are conducted; and the most advantageous thing about BIT is the properly planned course curriculum and timely completed syllabus.
Other: I took this each because I was interested in data science. I want my course to focus more on practical knowledge and to teach industry-level technology. There are also some clubs in our college that do some activities. The environment of the campus is also positive since the placement here is not good, and hence people focus more on skills development.
