Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2024). There is no upper age limit.

Good placements in 2021 and around 900 students got placed. It should be improved in 2023.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 80. The lowest average price is INR 3.5 LPA per annum, and the highest package offered is INR 7.INR 5 LPA per annum. Wipro will be the top recruiting company in our course. Designer and other roles will be offered in the interview section.

Infrastructure: The classrooms will be very large, and all facilities are available, like fans, light projectors, and digital screens. The lab infrastructure will be sufficient for the students, and all equipment is in working condition. The mess food will be tasteful and hygienic. The ambulance will be available on campus. The hostel rooms will have good facilities. The sports room and gym will be available.

Faculty: The teaching quality of the faculty is very impressive. And they can teach in different ways as per the students options. The qualification of the faculty is a Ph.D. degree for some courses. The semester exams will be very tough to pass. The minimum of 35 marks is the pass mark for the final exams.

Other: The course will be very interesting and very difficult in the future. It will play a major role in electronics. The depth of the course will be explained, and some colleges will be teaching it. The campus crowd will be around 2000, and the campus will provide events and extra activities on campus, some of which will be provided at the college.

College life at Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College

Placements: I completed my graduation in ECE. Almost 70% of students got selected for campus placements, with the highest package offered being INR 12 LPA. At the time, the lowest package offered was INR 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, Lattico, Virtusa, and IBM offer internships every semester. In my course, core job opportunities are higher.

Infrastructure: My ECE department classrooms are very clean and have good infrastructure; we have both hardware and software labs. In software labs, Wi-Fi is also available. I don't know about hostels; I use the bus facility, which is good, but my friends who stay in hostels said that the mess food feels like home food sometimes.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are highly educated, knowledgeable, and qualified, and the quality of the teaching is also good. Actually, I am from the ECE department. On the one hand, higher opportunities in the core jobs course are very helpful, and on the other hand, software teaching was not good. My college is under JNTUK, so obviously it was difficult. I think I got a 65% pass percentage.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements in 2024, and really good infrastructure

Placements: I am telling about my senior passing-out batch. 40% of students are only placed in my course. The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Hexagon, and Virtusa. Only 50% of students got internships from our course in Wipro and Infosys companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department include Wi-Fi in many classrooms, labs, and the library. In our hostel, we have AC, and the food in the mess is very hygienic, but the hostel fee is too high. Medical facilities are also available, and many sports programs are conducted.

Faculty: In our department, teachers are very friendly and helpful in clearing our doubts. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching is good. In our department, semester exams are very strict. They do not encourage malpractice and conduct exams under CCTV cameras. The pass percentage of our department is 83%.

Other: In our department, extracurricular activities are conducted, but they do not conduct events or fests.

I am highly satisfied with our college placements.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, etc. Around 60% of students got internships in various companies. Top roles offered were software engineer, project engineer, software trainee, Java developer, associate engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Our department provided facilities like labs, classrooms, a library with W-Fi and books, a canteen, a mess, games classes, an ambulance, sports, etc. The quality of the food in the mess and canteen was very good and tasty.

Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and helpful. All of them were well-qualified and certified. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were moderate. They always guide us to clear our doubts. The pass percentage was 40%.

I am satisfied with faculty members, placements, and infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, almost 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. IBM is the top recruiting company which visit our campus. Almost 100% of students are placed by top MNCs. Many students select NIT institutions for further studies.

Infrastructure: In our college, there is Wi-Fi all over campus. There are labs with equipment and air-conditioning systems. We have classrooms with blackboards and projectors. There is a library with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, all necessary books, magazines, project reviews, etc. We have a playground and indoor games. We have a mess with high-quality food and a medical room for any emergencies.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive of students so we perform well in examinations. The pass percentage is good. Our students are always a step forward for industry purposes. The teaching quality is too good.

Other: Our faculty members and job opportunities are more practical.
