Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Is Central Institute of Technology (CIT) good for BE/BTech?

Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure: The campus has a well-maintained digital library, comfortable hostels, and excellent medical facilities.
* Qualified faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and helpful, providing both theoretical and practical knowledge.
* Relevant course curriculum: The course structure is similar to that of IITs and NITs, making students industry-ready.
* Scholarships: Various scholarships are available for students belonging to different categories.
* Cultural and technical fests: The college hosts annual galas, including technical and cultural fests, attracting notable speakers and artists.

Cons:

* Poor placements: The placement record is not satisfactory, especially for the CSE department.
* Limited off-campus placements: Companies rarely visit the campus for off-campus placements.

I wish everyone to join this college.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Our training and placement cell is very good and supportive to students. There are no on-campus placements, but the placement cell sent us to some places where recruitments are going on and we can surely get a good job. But in future, there are lots of scopes for getting placements in our college.
Infrastructure: We have high-tech laboratories where we can enhance our skills and develop our talents. We also have high-speed internet connections in every hostel room. We have one of the best libraries in the entire northeast region of our country. We have tennis courts, basketball court, and volleyball court as well.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very skilled and experienced. They not only teach us but also recognise our talents. They also guide us with valuable life lessons. Most of them are master degree holders, and most of them have/are pursuing PhD. We can say that we are very proud of our teachers.

Infrastructure: It provides excellent facilities. Our college provides a volleyball ground, basketball ground, and tennis court. It has a LAN facility. A Wi-Fi facility is available at the hostel. Labs are amazing, and students can easily do their experiments. It has a beautiful campus. The infrastructure of our college is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They are always ready to help students at any time. Teachers are highly qualified. They all have done M.Tech or PhD. Teachers are experienced. They explain to us so nicely. They are punctual and give extra time for weak students also.

How does the placement cell for B.E./B.Tech at Central Institute of Technology assist students in getting placed?

Based on the statements provided by students and alumni, here's how the placement cell assists students:

* Limited placements: Unfortunately, the placement record of the institution is not good, with some students stating that the placements are "almost nil" and those offered are from local food manufacturing firms with low salaries.
* Self-driven efforts: Many students opt for self-placed jobs rather than relying on the placement cell, indicating a lack of confidence in the cell's abilities.
* No regular training and internship programs: One student mentioned that the college conducts internships only through NIELIT, limiting opportunities for students.
* Lack of guidance and support: Another student criticized the placement cell, saying that the T&P cell members lack guidance and are not supportive.

Overall, the placement cell seems to require improvement in terms of providing more effective services to students. While the institution offers good infrastructure and faculty, the placement aspect needs attention to better prepare students for the industry.
