The placements is bad. But the infrastructure us very good. The teachers are highly qualified.
Placements: The placement is bad in college. But you can get job on your own talent and teachers helps us by all. To get a job you must go through the GATE exam. Those who cleared GATE they are doing either job or higher study like M.Tech. I can say that our placement is bad due to the low quality of avg students.
Infrastructure: Its very good. All the class room have fan, lights and LAN ports also available in the classrooms. Projector also available in each classrooms. All the labs have AC. There is a library ie, Central Library is very good and it is digitalised. You can issue books bye your biometric library card and to enter the library there is also a digital GATE you need to scan your id then you can enter. The whole library is under cctv surviline and AC is also available. There is two digital library and seperate conference room is also available. The hostels are very good. In each room student capacity is two. LAN is available. Power supply is 24*7. There is a medical inside the campus. And there is playgrounds for various games and sports. There is also a Central Canteen. Its food quality is good and price is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. The helps us even in off time also. If there is a need of extra classes tge do. The faculty members are knowledgeable. Most of the members are pursuing Ph.D. And so of them have the Ph.D. and other degrees also. Some came from IITs, NITs.
Other: There is mainly two festivals we celebrate in the college TECHCRACY and ECSTACY. One is technical fest and another one is cultural. Other fest also we celebrate like shraswati puja, christmass, yoga day, pi day etc.

I am satisfied here. There are some problems, but overall, it is a good experience.
Placements: There are good numbers of placements for some departments. But in recent years, few placements job offers are available. Many seniors got placements offers. Salaries offered varies from Rs. 15,000 to 50,000 per month. There is a placement cell, and it handles all the placements and job-related matters in a proper manner. It's very useful as we know about the requirements for the job offers and how to prepare for it accordingly.
Infrastructure: Central Institute of Technology has a good infrastructure, and many more facilities and works are in progress. The classrooms are well-built, and the scenario of the classrooms are pretty good. The respective labs are very informative, and the equipment is available as per the needs. The central library is wonderful and is of great use. It is very famous all over Assam, and the library is digitalised. There are many playgrounds and fields for different kind of sports and games, and we are well provided with the sports kits. The food in the canteen is average. The hostel rooms are good. There is no infrastructure related issue during my tenure.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They are very good in their teaching methods. The teachers train us. They give notes and try to make us understand the course by using many methods. They often provide us with assignments and homework so that we won't have a problem in understanding the subject taught by them. We are about to get industry exposure, and many teachers are provided for the students for the practical knowledge and the importance of our course. The course curriculum is very useful.
Other: We do have cultural fest and technical fest in our college. We recently had our cultural and sports fest. It was a wonderful experience, and we got to know many new things. There are many extracurricular activities. Many workshops and seminars are held for us. We have certain clubs, where we take part and perform tasks and events. The surrounding is nice and peaceful.

Few Details about Central Institute of Technology,Kokrajhar
Placements: Since the college started offering B.Tech only before 7-8 years, the placement rate is not very high. As far I know, the highest package in this college is from the IT Department which is 9 lakhs per annum. Among the other departments, the highest package till date from the college is 25 lakhs per annum in the CSE branch. This college holds the record of highest selections in GATE.
Infrastructure: It's an underdeveloped college, but still, the infrastructure is quite good. Our college has the costliest and the biggest library in the entire northeast. The medical facilities are also quite good. There are various types of games including basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis etc
Faculty: Till now, the faculty were quite good. The teachers are very helpful as well as strict. The college is recruiting new professors and other staffs in every 6 months. The industry exposure in the college is very good. The course curriculum was also very useful
Other: The rate at which CIT is progressing, it will compete with most of the NITs in our country. We have two annual festivals where one is 'Techcracy' which is being conducted in the first week of November, and another one is 'Ecstasy' which is conducted in the 3rd week of February every year.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced.
