A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is CBIT Good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT):

Pros:

* Good Placement Opportunities: CBIT has a strong reputation for placing its students in top companies such as Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, Oracle, Amazon, and others. The highest package offered is around 60 LPA, with an average package of 10-20 LPA.
* Experienced Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, with many holding Ph.D.s. They are known for being helpful and supportive, with some even going beyond their duties to assist students.
* Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, a spacious library, and comfortable classrooms.
* Festivals and Clubs: CBIT hosts several festivals and clubs, providing students with opportunities to develop their skills and interests outside of academics.
* Internships: Students can opt for internships, with many companies visiting the campus to recruit interns.

Cons:

* Hostel Issues: Some students reported issues with the hostel, including poor food quality and limited facilities.
* Limited Freedom: Students felt that there was limited freedom in the hostel, requiring parental consent for certain activities.
* Summer Heat: Classes can get uncomfortably hot during the summer season, with no air conditioning in the classrooms.
* Curriculum: Some students felt that the curriculum could be improved, with some subjects feeling outdated or irrelevant.

Overall, CBIT seems to be a good option for students seeking a strong educational foundation and promising job prospects. While there are some areas for improvement, the college's reputation for placements, experienced faculty, and good infrastructure make it a viable choice.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for MCA Programs at CBIT

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's an assessment of the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT:

* Limited Information: Unfortunately, there is limited information available about the placement cell's performance and activities.

* No Specific Feedback: None of the reviewed statements specifically mention the placement cell or its effectiveness.

As such, it is challenging to assess the effectiveness of the placement cell for MCA programs at CBIT based on the provided information. However, this may indicate that the college does not actively promote or highlight their placement efforts, or that the placement process is relatively smooth and efficient without significant issues.

If you're interested in learning more about the placement cell or seeking guidance on career development, I recommend reaching out to the college administration or speaking with current students/alumni who have gone through the program.

Q:   Is MCA at CBIT worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

* Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with modern facilities, although MCA students don't have access to hostels.
* Faculty: Excellent faculty with Ph.D. qualifications, providing guidance and clearing doubts.
* Course Curriculum: Industry-relevant curriculum with regular updates, preparing students for placements.
* Placements: Good placement record with top companies visiting campus, offering packages ranging from INR5-10 LPA (average) to INR8-10 LPA (the highest).
* Competition: Compared to B.Tech placements, MCA placements may face more competition due to fewer students opting for the program.
* Career Prospects: While the highest package may not be as high as B.Tech, the faculty believes that with strong skills, students can secure placements in top companies.
* Campus Life: Events and festivals organized by the college are enjoyable, and the campus has good connectivity and surroundings.
* Library and Resources: One of the finest libraries in the country, providing access to nearly 100,000 books and resources.
* Support System: Faculty members focus on helping average students, making themselves available for doubt-clearing sessions.

Overall, while MCA at CBIT might not offer the same level of placements as B.Tech, the college's infrastructure, faculty, and resources make it a worthwhile investment for those interested in pursuing a career in computer applications. However, it's essential to consider the competitive nature of the job market and the need for strong skills to secure top placements.

Satisfied due to the way of this college is.
Placements: This college, CBIT, is mostly famous for its placements in all branches, especially for the B.E. in Information Technology. If you get an overall CGPA of above 8 or so, you may get very good placements among various reputable companies like Wipro, Samsung, MRF, etc.
Infrastructure: CBIT also provides a hostel facility for its students. In the hostel, there will be students of this college and also MGIT. The food can be rated above 3.5. The maintenance of the hostel is very impressive as they clean the rooms regularly. There will be 10 students in a single room for juniors, whereas for seniors, that is, 2nd year to 4th year, there will be 4 persons per room. The most important thing is there are two blocks, namely the Juniors block and the Seniors block.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. The course is very good. Emerging technologies are in the curriculum. Semester exams are very difficult. There is attractive competition among students. There is a semester with 16 weeks, including exams. Faculty members are very talented. They are very good.

The library is vast, containing numerous books on a variety of subjects to explore. Additionally, there are sports, music, and photography clubs, among others.

The college is satisfactory, but there is a feeling that more could be done.
Placements: CBIT college is well known for placements in our course. The highest package is 25 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 3.5 lacs per annum. They provide the best training for placement with industry experts. The companies such as IBM, Infosys, and Amazon, among others.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are good. In classrooms, they have fixed the Wi-Fi and installed new projectors. The facilities, such as nice desks and effective classes with the latest gadgets, contribute to better learning. The hostel is well-equipped with facilities like good food and water.
Faculty: The teachers are good; they explain concepts in an effective and interactive way so that every student can understand. They prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging to pass, with a passing percentage of 57% in our course. Compared to other courses, we have a challenging syllabus.

Not satisfied because of the faculty and bad infrastructure but satisfied with good placements.
Placements: The percentage of people placed in my passing out batch is 60%. The highest package offered is 49 LPA and the lowest package offered is 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Microsoft. Top roles offered are software developed etc.
Infrastructure: The college is full of construction and the classes are not clean even the bathrooms, but the library is good. It has a vast amount of resources. The college hostel has very bad facilities like a bad mess. The college canteen is good and the medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Only some of the teachers are good and expert in their subject. Out of 10 teachers, only 3-4 are knowledgeable. The Curriculum is not very relevant and does not make the students industry-ready. The pass percentage is approximately near 70%.
Other: I have chosen the course as I have an interest in the IT sector and I love coding. The best thing about this course is that I can learn different domain-related languages etc. There are no cultural events and the campus is always fully crowded.

Good college in Gandipet.
Placements: The college is best in Gandipet. More than 49% of students are placed in top companies. The highest package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA. Many students got internships from KPMG and TCS, which helped in placements. Roles are in Data Analytics and others.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college, like the best food in the canteen, Wi-Fi facilities in campus provided, and the library having a large number of books, both teaching and non-teaching. Medical facilities are given in the hostel and college. Hostel food is not good. Games are conducted often.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in semester exams. They have more than 10 years of experience in teaching, so they teach well and help us pass. The course is relevant to Information Technology, which has scope in the future. Semester exams are hard to pass compared to other exams.

How can you expect a free seat, if you get a rank of 13179? You know that free seat will be given to those who obtained a rank below 10000, moreover it is difficult to get a seat in Information Technology in CBIT.
