Good facilities provided to students. The college is well known for its placements.

Placements: Placements are good at CGC. They got many companies for the placements so that a student can get excellent opportunities for the better future and the college is well known for placements. Above 60% of students got placed in our course. In B.Com class 30 out of 50 students got placement in companies of their choice.

All is good about the college.

Placements: Almost 70% students were placed. The highest package is 6 Lacs, lower package is 2.8 Lacs and average is 3.5 Lacs. Top recruiters are cognizant and wipro for our course. Most of us got internship in cognizant. Programmer analyst is a role which is offered.

The college is good but it could be made better.

Placements: About 80 percent of students are placed by the college. The highest package offered was 32 LPA and the lowest was about 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, Microsoft, Delloite etc. There is no top role as the college is under ptu. There is no data in the college about the internship purpose.

It is a good college as it prepares students well for their future.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed from the college and the remaining students chose to study further. The highest salary offered was of Rs. 22,000 per month and the average salary offered would vary from Rs. 15,000 per month - Rs. 18,000 per month. The lowest salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000 per month - Rs. 12,000 per month. Root Analysis, Amazon, etc., visited our college for recruitments. It is a good college, but the university is very bad.

Placements: About 70% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Amazon, Google and Microsoft. Internships are not offered. This college is good, but PTU is a bad university. So overall, I will not recommend this college. Placements are also not that much great.

The college is decent but not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements are good but not up to the mark. Many companies visit this campus for placements. Many multinational companies like GSK, Novartis, Sun Pharma, Dr Lal Path Labs, etc., also visit the college to conduct placements. But, the college management always looks to make money. They only want the students to deposit the fee, and they charge fines for every small thing.

Satisfied with all the things.

Placements: The placement of our batch and our seniors batch was good. Most of the students were placed. The average salary package was 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Muthoot Finance, etc., came to the campus. The students went for the internships in the companies. There is a placement cell, and it will take cares of placements.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members, placement department, and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good in the college. Some of them are placed in the companies. The lowest and the highest salary package offered was from 2 to 8 lacs per annum. The companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Coca-Cola, Vardhman, etc., has visited the campus. The internships are there in the good companies. I don't know about the stipends. There is a big placement cell which takes care regarding the placements, and it is useful and efficient.

I am satisfied with all the things in this college.

Placements: Placements here are very good in college. Here salary package range from Rs. 8 to 2 lakhs per annum and companies like Amazon, Justdial, Axis Bank, ICICI, Air infotech, etc., visit this college. Here, 10% of people's are selected in internships, and the stipend here depends upon the type of job. There is also a placement cell in this college, and there are regular classes for the placements.

Do not take admission in the mechanical branch.

Placements: The placements are not available for mechanical branch students. The companies are below average and offer a lower package to the students, for the students who don’t get selected in the core branches. The mechanical students expect core branch companies but do not get them. The placement of the mechanical branch is the worst.

It is environment-friendly campus.

Placements: Placement drive conducted by the college was good, and almost 40%-50% of students get placed in every year. Salary package offered would be Rs.15,000-30,000 per month. Wipro, Amazon, Cipla and many more companies visited the campus, and most companies took students as a trainee. There was also a placement cell in the college, and it was not sufficient and useful for the student because most of the student was not aware of the placement drive.

Somewhat satisfied as the placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: CSC students get placements easily. The placements are not up to the mark for the other streams students they have to stand in a queue to get placed. The average package offered is 4.50 lacs per annum. The students have to pay for TPP classes. The companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Amazon and cognizant visit the campus.

The college is okay, but now up to the marks.

Placements: In our senior batch, the placements were good as well as bad. Overall, the average package was low. However, the deserving students got good packages. But mostly, very few people get good package jobs. Let's see what happens at the time of our placement. The offices, where the fee is deposited, seriously needs to be updated as they make us stand in the queue for so long.

Average college, crowd is okay and the placement is good.

Placements: The placements procedure is good in this college. There is some lack of coordination within the department. The placement in this college is like a pool placement. All the three colleges namely, the CGC Landran, Jhanjheri and Chandigarh University pooled together during the placement time. About 40% of the students of 2018 batch got placed till now. And about 50%-60% of the students of my senior batch got placed. The highest package till now is around Rs. 6 lakhs per annum and the lowest is abo...

Good placements in 2017. Placement-wise, this college is the best.

Placements: Placement-wise, this college is the best. More than 150 companies visit this campus. The highest package one can get after doing M.B.A. from this college is 10 lakhs. 100% placements were there last year. For placements, they give pre placement training. Aptitude and communication classes are given to students so that they can be selected in the best company.

There is a very bad system of attendace in this college.

Placements: I took an admission in this college on the image of good placements in the college. After some days in the college, I interacted with my seniors, and they said that few companies visit the college and place a very small amount of students around 3-6 students for core mechanical. The placement drive is joint 3 colleges come for the placement C.U, CGC Jhanjheri, CGC Landran. Huge amount of students with very fewer vacancies in the mechanical core. Fake placements record are shown to everyone.

Placements: Fake placements i.e. students were not placed in any company. But in the college record, maximum students of the college are placed. In reality, only 18% of students are placed inclusive of all streams and courses. College placements are terrible. Talking about my placement, I was placed in 5 companies as said by the college, but all 5 companies deny this or don't give any offer letter.

Infrastructure of the college is not so good as there aren't any air conditioned class rooms. It’s very difficult in summers to sit in the class of 60 students. Although, computer labs are fully AC. The college has good placement records from last few years. Some big IT companies come in this college for recruitment. Average package of a B.Tech - CSE student is around 4 LPA.
