The City College is the college of the city.

Placements: The college was accredited with Calcutta University, and it is situated at the heart of the city. The location of this college is accessible from all the ends. Faculty of the college always shows their kind attitude towards the students. As it is a government college, it is not that much costly. A student can continue his studies at about Rs. 5,000 in a year. After three years of completion, you can go for the master degree if your result stands 60% and above.

Infrastructure: There is labs facility. Student can perform laboratory work every day. The laboratory assistants are helpful. You can always get your teacher beside you at the time of performing experiments. Classrooms are large and ventilated, but there is no provision of airconditioner or Wi-Fi.

Faculty: Faculty and all working staff are good. Sometimes you feel quite irritated with the behaviour of non-teaching staffs, but you have to think that they are the person to help the students of all cases it may be your result or your admit card for appearing before the exam. All are good.

Other: I chose this course because I was keen to know about human physiology. In the laboratory work, we have to perform animal killing in the name of a laboratory test. We had to kill frogs and rats that should be stopped.

Other: It’s a nice college for science, arts & commerce. The building is of 120 years old but the education of this college is very good. The fees structures is very nominal in each stream. The cultural side of this college is also very good. The faculty of this college is very good as well as very friendly.
