Review of City Engineering College (CEC, Banglore).

Placements: In our civil batch, there are only 15 students in total, but no one got placed. In CSE, there are about 65 students, and almost 80% of them got placed in companies like Computacenter India Pvt., Ltd., Bosch, Synchrony Technologies etc.

Infrastructure: The college needs better infrastructure as it lacks proper canteen, labs, and there is no Wi-Fi. The classrooms are average, but there are no hostel facilities. The college won't even care about the health of students as the canteen provides unhygienic food.

Faculty: The teachers are really good, and they provide proper guidance and notes. Almost 90% of our class passed with no backlogs. But during the pandemic in the 5th semester, we faced a lot of difficulties passing the exams. Some of the faculty members are leaving the college due to the lack of proper management.

Other: I chose civil over others because I have a passion for that field. In the civil branch, they need to provide updated books and better AutoCAD classes. In this college, they won't even provide enough money to arrange fests, which is very disappointing. They won't have any interest in sports and extracurricular activities.

The college does nothing other than asking for money.

Placements: There are no placements at all. College isn't responsible for placement there. You just take your degree and go, rest of it you know, and god knows. Although some placements are available for other streams, for civil, it is just a dream. T John College is the best than this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not really much good. You will find a school in one building. Moreover, you will play with school kids there. These people will pressure you just by asking for money again and again. Three buildings are there, but only two are available for college.

Faculty: Faculty are even worse except a few people there. Sometimes, I used to go to a professor to discuss something, but they hardly responded. They will make you beg for your degree. Honestly speaking, don't prefer such a dull college. I suggest joining T John College.

Other: Only one event is conducted in a year, that's all.

Totally this college is average. Average students. Average teaching faculty.

Placements: The placement for civil engineering is zero, but for other branches, it is good. Placements in this college are average. In this college, lack of teaching and experienced teachers. There is no computation between students. They think like childish. There is no good company visited our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Totally the college is average. The infrastructure is not good. The college lab facilities are bad. The worst canteen. There are no hostel facilities, and there is no good road. There are no sports activities. This college campus doesn't have Wi-Fi.

Faculty: City Engineering College teaching field is totally bad. There is no experienced staff, and they teach at the high school level and the quality of teaching the worst. Lack of teachers. There is one teacher per two subjects. Teachers don't have any field experience.

Other: In this college, there are no events. They celebrate fest like school level fest and campus is not good. The campus surroundings are totally in the worst conditions.

City Engineering College is somewhat okay.

Placements: The placements in our college are not so good. It's in the worst condition. None of our seniors got placed in any company. They are still searching for jobs by themselves or are continuing their education. If by chance they got placed, they got a maximum package of only about 3 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not so good. Ours is a small college. But it is well equipped with a library and cleanly maintained labs. The classrooms are neat. The quality of food available is very good in both the hostel and the canteen. But there is a congestion in the auditorium if any program or competition is conducted.

Faculty: The faculty members are straightforward, helpful, and also good in knowledge. But most of them are M.Tech holders and pursuing their PhDs. All the teachers are good at their industrial knowledge and skills. They arrange internship and industrial trips so that we can get industrial knowledge.
