Available across six specialisations, admission to CIT Coimbatore MBA is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in the TANCET MBA exam conducted by DOTE Chennai. Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rules of reservation laid down by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 

The selection, as mentioned above is made on the basis of the marks secured in the TANCET entrance examination. If there is 
a tie (same marks obtained in TANCET 2023 by more than one aspirants) while preparing the rank list, the students will be ranked as per following merit rules:

• Average percentage of marks in the qualifying Degree examination
• Date of birth (Candidates ho are elder will be given preference)
• Random number assigned (higher value will be given preference)

CIT admission is completely entrance/counselling based and is conducted by DOTE Chennai.
