CIT Coimbatore offers a full-time two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) under the Department of Management Studies. The duration of the course is two years divided into four semesters. Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rules of reservation laid down by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 

The selection, as mentioned above is made on the basis of the marks secured in the TANCET entrance examination. If there is 
a tie (same marks obtained in TANCET 2023 by more than one aspirants) while preparing the rank list, the students will be ranked as per following merit rules:

• Step 1.2: TANCET Login: TANCET 2024 application process is a seven-step process. Candidates need to complete all the steps to submit the form. Only the candidates filling the application form before the last date are issued the TANCET admit card to appear for the exam.

• A pass in any recognised bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration with at least 50% aggregate (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examination.
• The graduation degree should be in any of these formats: 10+2+3/ 4 /5 years’ pattern OR 10+3-year Diploma + 3 years’ pattern or BE/ BTech/ BArch/ BPharm or 10+2 + AMIE or 10+3 years’ diploma
