B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
One of the best engineering college in Maharashtra.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, 78% of students were placed in students who were seated for students 2023-24 batch which is less than 2022-23. The highest package offered in mechanical engineering was 26.65 LPA by DMW Corporation and the average package was 8.26 Lacs per annum in the year 2023-24.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful and in the college campus, and hostel campus everywhere greenery is there but the hostel buildings are very old and in one small room, there are 4 students. The food of the hostel is the best along with the canteen food which is reasonably priced.
Faculty: There are very well-experienced faculty members. They are perfect in their domain. Some faculty members have been teaching in this college for the last 20-25 years. Also from 2023 batch, COEP has started following the national education policy which was proposed in 2020. Semester exams are not very difficult some questions in exams are directly from assignments and tutorials.
Other: There are 4 main fests are in College: Technical fest - Mindspark Cultural fest-impression Startup and innovation fest - PSF Pune startup fest Sports event - Zest.

COEP Teach Review for Elec.
Placements: For my department (Electrical Engineering), the placement is good compared to other colleges. The top recruiters that came were Caterpillar, Reliance, Texas Instruments, Deloitte, Tata, Ion, Bajaj, and many more. The highest package for Electrical was from TI with 36 Lacs CTC. The role offered was of Sales and Analog Engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are great; the rooms are quite spacious, and the labs are also equipped with some of the best instruments. The library of the college is also quite rich in books and has diversity in the books. The Wi-Fi is quite problematic; it is not good in the hostel and college campus. The food in the mess and canteen is good. The food in the North Campus canteen is not up to the mark. There is a great sports culture in the college.
Faculty: The semester exams are of moderate difficulty; they are conducted in two halves: mid-sems and end-sems. The passing CGPA is 6.0, which is based on the relative grading in the college. The course curriculum is quite relevant and also has many industry visits planned so that students can get hands-on experience. The teachers are also quite qualified, and many have completed their Ph.D.

B.Tech. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027
3.4
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
COEP is one of the premier engineering institute in India, located in Pune .
Placements: As my batch is new, i.e., we are in the first year, therefore, there are no placements yet. They will be done in the final year. Certainly, there are many more companies for placement. One that offered more than 50 LPA was Deshaw and Pattern Technologies. My batch is of robotics and artificial intelligence which has many roles in between.
Infrastructure: The facilities are excellent in terms of infrastructure and other things, especially the AC complex is very nicely designed for first-year students to study there and focus on the lectures. The quality of the mess is pretty decent in terms of food, and the hostel is with in one room we have to adjust with four people.
Faculty: The teachers are pretty average in theory subjects, but in critical understanding subjects or the ones that require more deep thinking, there are experienced faculty members. The course is the same as that of the mechanical one for the first year. The semester exams are easy in terms of scoring if you have prepared well.
Other: This course is better than mechanical and electrical because it has all the core things of all the batches.

B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
COEP Review by a Final Year student.
Placements: Most of the computer engineering students are placed in some of the finest companies in India. The majority of the students get a pre-placement offer (PPO), and the remaining population applies for jobs in the final year. The highest package is about 52 lakhs, and the average is about 15 lakhs. About 70 percent of the students secured an internship offer in their pre-final year of college. The majority of roles offered were as program associates and software developers. Some of the top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Arcesium, Wells Fargo, Hilti, Deutsche Bank, Mastercard, and Citi.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty good. Some of the departments don't have their own buildings and also lack some lab infrastructure. The Wi-Fi throughout the campus is terrible. The library is good and has a lot of facilities and journals. The mess food is the finest there can be; you'll surely love it. It is hygienic. The Meta canteen food is good, but the BCC canteen food is terrible.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are quite helpful and are really qualified and knowledgeable, but some of the new faculty members lack knowledge and are not that supportive. Most of the course curriculum is relevant, but they surely need to upgrade it to make students more industry-ready. Semester exams are quite manageable. You need to score above 40 to be safe, out of 100, in all the subjects.
Other: I had an interest in computer engineering, so I decided to opt for this course. Lab activities can be improved for the students. There are a lot of events going on throughout the year. There are 5 major fests conducted throughout the year. The campus is well connected.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I'm from Computer Engineering Department passing in 2026. Nearly about 88% placement. The highest package offered is 52 LPA. Many top companies like PhonePe, Mastercard, Microsoft, Patterns, and JP Morgan visit the campus. Mostly all students get internships; assistant software engineer and data analytics roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Classroom is good, Wi-Fi sometimes doesn't work, hostel is much better, and food quality is best. Sports and games are played on a huge level. The canteen is also very good compared to other colleges. The library is very good; it has all books available. Hostel area is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, and teaching scheme is also good. Yes, course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it is difficult. Teachers are helpful, but not everything is taught; some are a little rude. Labs are not taken regularly, and new staff don't take much interest.
Other: B.Tech in Computer Engineering is the most demanding course in today's era. Scholarships are provided by college itself, excellent fests, and extracurricular activities.

4Placements4Infrastructure2Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, but placements are good.
Placements: The placements are really good for the computer branch, where about 90% got placed this year with an average package of 16 LPA and the highest around 54 LPA. The top recruiters are Tata Phonepe, etc. The roles offered are like data scientist, analyst, web developer, software developer, etc. The placements are just good enough for computer students only, as the placements for other branches are very low compared to these.
Infrastructure: All the things like Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, and libraries are available for our department, but sometimes the Wi-Fi doesn't even work. The food in our mess is good, i.e., 8/10, and there are also medical facilities available with a big playground available for outdoor games.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified, but all the faculty members think they are the best, and there is no competition for them. Also, the semester is not very tough. The teachers now, as the university has become a university, don't have any limits on the syllabus they want to keep, so no extra knowledge is gained by the students.
Other: The events at this college are the best thing you should watch out for.
