Great college life with not so great academics.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed and the rest go for further studies or don't get placed on campus. The highest package was around 39 LPA which my senior got on campus and the lowest would be maybe 4-5 LPA I guess. Texas is the top recruiter for our department.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities and infrastructure is like any government college, nothing to hype about. Wi-Fi is slow and classrooms are okay I would say. Not the best but not the worst also. I don't live in the college hostel. I stay outside as a paying guest but as far as I have heard from the college inmates, the rooms are decent and the food is better than any other outside hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are good. Some are not that good also just like any school or college but some are really wonderful and helpful. All the teachers are highly qualified but all of them know how to teach properly I would say (not someone to judge but that's what I would say from a student's perspective). Course curriculum is relevant but the time allotted for one semester is very low around 3-3.5 months which I don't find very tough but I hear many of my college mates complaining about it.
Other: To be honest, everyone was taking engineering and maybe that's why even I took it. Or maybe I didn't have much idea about my own interests which led me to engineering but after 1.5 years of engineering I am slightly getting an idea of what I want to do in life so probably after 4 years of B.Tech even if I don't know what I want in life, I'll definitely know what I don't want in life (that is engineering?).

Good placements last year, college fests are great and connectivity is nice.
Placements: Last year, about 80-85% of my seniors got placed. Placements are still taking place. The highest package was 38 LPA, and the lowest was about 6 LPA. The top recruiting company was Texas Instrumentation, followed by Amadeus and several others. More than 50% of students got internships last year. This year, internships are still taking place, and about 30–35% of students have already gotten internships. The top roles are digital and analog engineer.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are not so good in the first year, but from the second year, the infrastructure is quite nice. The Wi-Fi is not good, so it's better to use our own mobile data for activities. The labs are good, and we have enough equipment available, even though some are for faculty use only. The library is also nice, with a lot of books and a quiet, calm atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable, but some don't know how to teach or interact with students. The course curriculum is not relevant and doesn't prepare students for the industry. The semester exams are not difficult, and students can pass if they start studying a week before the exam. The pass percentage is almost 95%.
Other: I chose this course because of the college's reputation and the placements offered by top MNCs. The course is not boring like computer science, and the hands-on experiments are more like mechanical or civil engineering. The events are top quality, and during each college fest a top celebrity does the proshow. The campus is crowded almost all the time, and the extracurricular activities are especially nice for the freshers.

Overrated facilities with a rated college life.
Placements: In my branch, Texas is the highest placed company. From my hostel, a senior was placed at about 36 LPA at Texas. Now, the average package has become 7 LPA. The package is comparatively lower than previous years. Also, Bosch and Google will come to our college for campus placements.
Infrastructure: I am staying in the college hostel, and I really love it. Here, we have 4 modems on each floor. In our block, there are 120 students, and each floor has 8 bathrooms and 8 toilets. We don't have a library in our block, but we have one in our seniors' block. There are four blocks in our hostel. In the remaining three hostels, there are seniors. In my college, we have an electronics lab with all facilities. In our class, there are 70 students, and we have all basic facilities.
Faculty: I think the facilities are overrated. To be honest, if you want to get good marks, you need to study with the help of YouTube or by referring to books. The facilities are just doing their job to get a salary, not to teach the students. I think in the future, electronics will have great opportunities because of semiconductor evolution in India. To be honest, our curriculum is outdated. Now, I am studying the 2019 scheme.
Other: I chose this course because my cousin passed out from here in the electronics branch, and he is placed in Bangalore. He suggested choosing this college and this branch.

CET is an engineering college with very good placements, cultural activities, and infrastructure.
Placements: The college almost provides better placements with mouthwatering packages. The students get placed to reputed companies like Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Intel, TCS, Wipro, etc. The college ensures that none of the students get placed in top positions and helps the students to give them a boost in their career. The highest the college can go up to is 30 LPA, and the average package is about 8 LPA. Most of the students who wish for the betterment of their career have an opportunity to get internships from top companies, and most of them even get their pre-placement offers.
Infrastructure: The college is technically very advanced. Wi-Fi is available in every nook and corner of the college. The campus is very lively and spans across 120 acres. The classrooms are smart classes, and the labs are very advanced, which provides students with the required academic help. The hostels are okay, and the food provided is very good according to the opinion given by the inmates. They even get a fest during special days. The campus provides a wide range of sports facilities, and it even has a multidimensional gym.
Faculty: The teachers have very good experience and have completed their higher studies from top reputed colleges. Most of the teachers are helpful to students to clarify their doubts while some of them lack interest. The curriculum is updated, and it makes the students industry-ready. They only get to know about their subjects which are important to them. The university exams are easy compared to the exams given in NITs and IITs.
Other: I chose this college due to its balance between academic and non-academic activities. The college conducts two fests, which are the best in the state. The pro shows were done by the most sought-after artists in the country such as Jonita Gandhi, Armaan Malik, Sreenath Bhasi, and much more. The campus provides a healthy atmosphere for students to study and develop an attitude which gives them high in their career.

It is a good college with the best facilities.
Placements: All students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Texas Instruments, Bosch, Royal Enfield, Jio, Redbull, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Laboratory is better. It also provides a decent library. High-speed Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are well-maintained. Hostels are also good. The food quality is better. Around 2 students can stay in each hostel room. There is a separate block for first-year students. Sports are also conducted. Gym facility is available and is open till 9:30 PM.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and well-educated. They are excellent at teaching. We have basic courses like civil, mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineering.
Other: Festivals are celebrated like Drishti, Dwani, Odisha, etc. In Drishti 2022, Sophia Robot campe to our college. Many celebrities like Armaan Malik and Jonita Gandi visit our college for entertainment purposes. Events are sponsored by Realme. Students are very friendly with students from other states.
