College of Home Science library has a total Collection of 5232 books of which 3320 are unique titles. It also has a collection of journals, reports, newsletter, database of students seminar presentation, reports of Intramural Research Project (IRP), government documents, newspapers and CD-ROMs. It subscribes to 24 national journals and 4 foreign journals. It has computerized with integrated SOUL (Software for University Libraries) software. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) can be accessed in library.

College of Home Science, Central Agricultural University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |

| B.Sc. | Candidate who have obtained any Diploma or vocational course after matriculation will not be eligible. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English. The minimum age limit should be 16 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |
| M.Sc. | Candidate must have completed gradudation in B.Sc. Community Science/Home Science or B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science/Home Science. |
