A good college with good ROI.
Placements: If you score a good rank in the WBJEE and JEE Main exam or good marks in your last qualification, then you are eligible. The highest package is 2,500,000, and the average package is 500,000. Above 80 percent who got internships are eligible from B.Tech.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my department are very good. All machines are available and updated from time to time. Workshops are also there, and all updated instruments are available. The facilities in the college hostel are good, just like average. Emergency hospitals are also available, and doctors are present all the time.
Faculty: In my college, the teachers are helpful. If you have any doubts, then you are free to ask. The teachers are very qualified. All teachers have done Ph.D. In my college, the difficulty level is moderate for the semester exams. All questions are given from the book only or what teachers taught only.

It is an excellent college with good placements.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students got placed. Almost 75% of mechanical students got placed in IT companies. Top recruiting companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Mahindra CI, Tata Motors, HMB Ispat Pvt Ltd, Salagram Power, Steel Pvt Ltd, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Almost 90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available throughout the campus. Our labs were good. Labs were planned to provide state-of-the-art facilities with machines and equipment that pertain to our updated curricula. We had laboratories for fluid mechanics, thermal power, engineering graphics, the strength of materials, CAD, CAM, machine dynamics, robotics, and CNC. There were two separate hostels for boys and girls outside the campus. A guest house was available on campus. The quality of the food was good. A canteen was available. Ambulance services were available on campus. Durgapur Sub Divisional Government Hospital was near our college. Sports ground was available.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful and qualified. Most of them were M.Tech. and Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum was relevant. Durgapur was a sought-after city with numerous industries such as gas, oil, steel, and power generation plants, as well as D. V. C. Semester exams were average. The pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become an engineer. The best thing was that it grew your knowledge in the engineering field. Our college organised many events for freshers, annual functions, and many seminars. Scholarships were available. Extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS were held.

I have a good experience with college life, campus, and facilities.
Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed in our college. The average package is around 4 lakhs, the median package is 3 lakhs, and the highest package is 14 lakhs in our college. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. Almost 80% of students got internships in their respective fields. In my course, Mechanical Engineering, the top roles include welding, machine tools, and many others.
Infrastructure: In the college as well as in the hostel, unlimited Wi-Fi is available, making it easy to connect to the internet. There are many labs and workshops available for working on various projects. The classrooms are spacious enough for 65 students according to their course. There is a large central library in the middle of the college, with almost 92,000 books available. The facilities in our hostel are good. We have a common room for indoor games, 24/7 drinking water, and four bathrooms and four toilets on each floor of the hostel. We also have a football ground, tennis court, and basketball court near the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. You can ask any doubts you have that you cannot understand in class, and they will help you anytime. The teachers are very qualified, and most of the students like their teaching style. They explain the topics in a gentle manner. Most students appreciate their behavior, and I also value that. This course helps us to be ready for the industry. The semester exams are not very difficult, but you have to study hard to pass, especially in the 1st and 2nd semesters. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I chose this course for family reasons. I like to read mechanics and engineering subjects, along with many others in Mechanical Engineering.

I am satisfied because of the overall quality of the college.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Tata Motors, TCS, Bosch, etc., visit our campus. Almost 67% of students get internships at Wipro, TCS, Bosch, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available for students. There is a good Wi-Fi connection on campus and excellent laboratories. Many e-classrooms are available. One central library and a college library are at the center of the college.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and have a vast knowledge of the subject. Every department has excellent teachers. Our department has one of the best faculty members. The course is relevant and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a mechanical engineer. I always wanted to learn about machines and the physics of our world, and in that sense, this is the best course you can imagine.

Placements: Around 10-15% of students got placed in companies like TCS, etc. The highest package offered was 10 LPA - 11 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Internships are average.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms and a huge library with many books. Hostel facilities are good and have well-maintained rooms with a good mess and canteen. We can play cricket, football, basketball, and tennis. The campus also has a temple.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful to students and resolve their problems. Semester exams are moderate. If you study well, you can score well easily. This course easily makes the students industry-ready, and the course provides good knowledge of English and literature, and it makes you ready for interviews.
Other: The college hosts events every year, like a tech fest, cultural fest, several workshops, and sports day. We celebrate many festivals. Overall, it is a very good experience.

Not too good or not too bad. It isn't up to the mark. Placement cell needs to work more. Recently, placement of this college is below average. The recent batch of 2017 had 22% placement with an average of 3 LPA. The internship is more or less zero for this department. So, I won't advise you to join
