Good infrastructure.
Placements: Less number of placements were recorded in 2020 to 2023 batch. Few students got placed with packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA. There are few companies that visit here. Only 10 students got hired this year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure looks natural and not artificially made. There is a mini park inside our college and the buildings are a little bit good. There are 2 canteens inside our college.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are the best as compared to other colleges. There are some good teachers in our college. They also conduct some special classes.

Review of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Top companies like Zoho, VVDN, Robert Bosch, Cisco, etc., offer placements for over 90% of students. The salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 9 LPA. More than twenty other companies also come to offer jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: Libraries have a large collection of books, and we have a web portal for accessing books inside the campus. The campus does not have Wi-Fi facilities. Hostel rooms are extremely large and good, but the food is not as great as the rooms. Medical facilities are available for first aid.
Faculty: Senior professors and associates are highly knowledgeable, but the newly recruited ones are not. The curriculum is irrelevant. It is a bit outdated, e.g., we are still learning C programming instead of Python, which is in demand nowadays. Exams are moderate.
Other: Our college does not organise events to which other college students are invited. The student council mostly organises all the events, but they are not that good.

Everything is good in this college, but I think only the fee is very high.
Placements: Placement classes are started in the third year only, so I think we all have good opportunities to build our skills practically. We can't be even able to forget things which they taught us. The minimum academic percentage required to qualify for placements is 75%.
Infrastructure: All labs and classrooms are nice here, and the library is huge on the campus where I can see many categories of books. I am a day scholar, so I don't have an idea about the hostel and how students feel there, and I hope they feel good enough. The canteen is good, which provides tasty tea and snacks in the break time.
Faculty: Faculty members here are trained excellently, and they teach us good. Even they teach many things practically and encourage every student to prepare for MCET in a good manner. Teachers have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience. Their teaching skills are enough.
Other: I have chosen this ECE to become a software engineer because, in that course, we learn every other course like IT, EEE, etc. So, we learn everything in one course.

It is one of the best college with NAAC A+ accreditation.
Placements: In the current year, ECE students were placed more than other department students, even in this pandemic situation. The salary packages offered ranges from 2.3 LPA - 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Vivien, Intel, Bosch, Yahoo, etc. Our seniors got internships in companies like VLSI design, system verification, design verification, IoT related, chip modelling, etc.
Infrastructure: We have 2 personal classrooms and more than 4 labs per semester. Students can't get access for Wi-Fi, I got permission sometimes. There is a huge library with multiple sections. I am a day scholar, so I am sure about the hostel. But my friends said that it is good, clean and affordable. There are many games and sports with an inbuilt gym.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. But are punctual, disciplined and strict. The course curriculum is relevant and convenient to understand, but it is not enough to be industry-ready. We have to cover the remaining as no one will be able to teach all the things. Exam valuation here is good.
Other: Our college provides scholarships for 100 students per year by selecting in categories with good CGPA, discipline, attendance and economically low.
