Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

The college provides good education and good teaching faculty.
Placements: Around 75% percent of students got placed at our college every year. The highest package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, google and Infosys. The top roles are project manager and web developer. 68% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our college. They provide facilities like computer labs and neatly maintained class rooms for all students. The library is very useful to students and Wi-Fi is also available. The hostel provide campus both boys and girls. The sports facilities like kabaddi, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Our college teachers are friendly. They are highly qualified and experienced. They have good knowledge about their subjects. The teachers have a lovely nature and are supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is 60%.

The infrastructure of this college is fantastic, but dissatisfied with the teaching quality.
Placements: Around 80% of students who were interested in placements got placed in IT from my batch. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest package was 2 LPA, and the average package was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, CTS, BYJU's, Infosys, Capgemini etc. Around 20% of students opted for internships in companies such as CTS, RFPIO, Coding Mart etc. The top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, business development associate etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not much accessible. Only if you are on good terms with the lab assistant, you can get good Wi-Fi. Classrooms and library are all of high quality. Very healthy food is provided. The hostel is very neat and clean. The mess provides very healthy food, and non-veg food is provided on Sundays. The canteen is small and had only limited snacks. Our college is a part of KMCH, which is one of the best hospitals in Coimbatore. Hence, all students get medical facilities from KMCH. Sports and games are driven by students, and there are lots of games you can participate in. Hockey is one of the prime sports in NGP college.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are knowledgeable. Others are average. The teaching quality is pretty low, and they only teach you how to pass the exams. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant. Few courses are relevant, and others are not. It does not make the students industry-ready, but they can teach you the basics. Semester exams are pretty difficult. If you have a good score in internals, the pass percentage for the semester exam is 45%.

2024 placements are good I'm satisfied.
Placements: Of the 90% who were placed, the average salary was 3 LPA. The companies that recruited were Hexaware, Multicoreware, TCS, CTS, etc. As of now, 50% have secured internships in various companies. Software developers, full stack developers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and BME graduates have been placed for medical coding so far.
Infrastructure: The IT department has labs with well-equipped systems, as well as a library and discussion rooms for event discussion and club activities. There is also a sick room, a gaming room for indoor games, and more play areas.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful in subject-related matters, and the curriculum helped in practical labs. The semester exams were moderate, with good questions and relevant knowledge-based questions. The exams also included critical thinking questions.
Other: I liked the course syllabus for IT work. However, the training time could have been better. Overall, I think this college is the best.

Really good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: There are a lot of companies offering placements, and a lot of people are getting placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 12 LPA. The roles offered in the companies are development, web development, and data science engineering, python, and Java development.
Infrastructure: The new library that was built. It's big and well-stocked, which is useful during semesters. The food in the canteen is good, and the labs are clean. However, there is no free Wi-Fi for students to use on their laptops, and Wi-Fi is only available for the computers in the laboratory.
Faculty: The semester exams are easy for us, and a high percentage of students pass. Some of the faculty are qualified and help us with the semester. They help me learn the course material and understand the outcomes. The teaching quality is good and based on our own interests.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in learning computer science and technology. I really enjoy the events and fests that are held at our college.
