B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2023

It has good mess, hostels, canteens, campus and classrooms.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students get placed. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA - 6 LPA. Wipro and Infosys are the top recruiters. Most of the students got placed in Infosys, Byju's, etc.
Infrastructure: We have smart classes for innovative learning, and there are good condition modern tools in labs for practical learning, an internet library along with offline library. Healthy and hygiene food is served in the mess. The hostel is neat for boys. There is a separate hostel for girls with security. Medical facilities are available daily within the settled timetable. Sports and games are held only once per week.
Faculty: Teaching is easy to understand. We learn theoretical and practical knowledge that society needs through their teaching. Exams are so strict and we should well prepare for sem exams to score well and pass marks. Teaching can be rated as 3-4 stars.

B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2017

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.
Placements: Placements for our batch have started in the month of January 2017, many of my classmates attended the placements drives and got selected in various companies. We had around 10 placements drives from different companies. Except for 3 students, everyone in my class got selected in at least 1 company. The bad thing is that none of the companies was a core company. Most of the companies were related to marketing and BPOs. The highest salary package was around Rs. 15,000 per month while the lowest was around Rs. 8,000 per month specifically in my department. Also, some companies didn't send the job offer letters to the selected candidates. No placement training was given to us from the college's side before the starting of placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not open; it was password protected, and students are not able to access the Wi-Fi. During my first year, there was no specific lab for our department. Then they arranged another department lab and then eventually we got a department lab when we were in the final year. There was a common internet lab for all departments which was often engaged in bank and government exams. There were only 2 staff members during our second year including our HOD. There were only 3 staff members who were from our department, the and others were from mechanical and other departments. The classrooms were not quite good. There were no projectors for individual classrooms. Instead, there was 1 projector for the whole department. The fans and electric plug points were not working, and window glasses were not good. A playground was available, but we were not allowed to play any games. No sports were conducted until the final year. A library was available, but only subject related books were there. For medical facilities, an ambulance was available all the time, and blood donation programmes were held every year.
Faculty: Faculty members were changing in between departments. For example, my department HOD had resigned his job during our third year after which electrical and information department staff was appointed as our department HOD. Teaching quality was average, and student to faculty ratio was no good. We were taken to three industry trips throughout four years. Yoga and meditation programmes were conducted for all during the first year for every batch. Some teachers were friendly, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was slightly useful.
Other: No cultural programmes were conducted, and scholarships were available. Tech Expo is conducted for all departments every year. No active sports event was conducted, and no industries are close to the college.
