There are so many facilities if you are willing to explore
Placements: About 300 plus students were placed from my college during on campus selection. Our placement cell is very active and coordinators are selected from different classes. Our placement cell officer is very hard working and he put maximum effort to get placement.
Infrastructure: The quality of hostel and food is so amazing and cleaning is also good. Maintenance of college was amazing. I don't know how many college will do these kind of maintenance and I want to say infrastructure in Fisat is very much appreciated and this is an amazing scenery to see.
Faculty: It's a tough curriculum. Faculties give more attention to bookish study than practical studies. So that is the main problem. We have given more importance to academics than practical study. So while coming to placement we didn't want all bookish knowledge.

The place where you can enjoy and study.
Placements: There are many placements at FISAT, with an average salary package of 1.1 LPA. The majority of the students got placed from campus. The highest package is 11 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, Master System, DCT, and others where students got placed. The roles offered are in core fields and IT as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mind-blowing. All the labs and auditorium are constructed in a professional manner and with a very friendly atmosphere. The college provides Wi-Fi facilities in every lab and classroom, and smart teaching facilities are also available. The library is well-constructed and maintained, with a calm atmosphere, and every book is available. The hostel food quality is good compared to other hostels, and maintenance is also good. The canteen provides a variety of foods and snacks, which are loved by students. Additionally, there is a medical team in the college for any emergencies. FISAT is one of the best colleges for sports because many champions in sports come from FISAT.
Faculty: The teachers give us what we need and are very friendly, so there is a good understanding between students and teachers. The teachers teach with the best quality and all the facilities, like smart classrooms. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is also very good and provides what students need. The internal exams are conducted in a way that makes it easier to crack the semester exams. The exams are not too difficult to crack.

FISAT -one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Placements: 75% of the students from the batch got placed in several MNCs and Start-Up companies. Many IT companies including TCS, CTS, IBM, IBS, Code young, SOTI etc. And core companies such as Procys, Cadence etc. Came for recruitment. The highest Salary Package was 17.2LPA and average one was 5.2LPA. Two of the students got internship opportunities in a startup. Top Roles offered were Software Engineer and Tester, Analyst, Trainee etc.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well-equipped and maintained with projectors, fans, benches etc. The labs are also equipped with great facilities with number of machines. We have a library with wide variety of books, journals, research papers including a digital library. The labs are equipped with several computer machines and have full ACs inside it. The hostel facilities are also nice. One room is shared among 3 students with a common toilets. The food is the best part of college hostel. Everyday we have different food varieties and its so tasty. Medical facilities are available in the college itself. Sports including football, volleyball, cricket, football are active in college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly experienced and qualified in their own field of matter. Teachers are very helpful for us, they provide additional notes for us to study. Course curriculum is well structured and maintained and semester exams are held during June-July and Dec-Jan. Exam difficult depends on the subject and its area. Pass percentage for students is 40%. .
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in working with Embedded Systems and electronic equipment. Th e one thing I wishing to improve about this course is by having more practical sessions rather than theory. Many teach fests are cultural fests are conducted every year with lot of celebrations. Campus Life is best in Fisat and I really love it. Scholarship are given to students based on academic performance, financial background etc.

I am absolutely satisfied with its faculty members and good placements.
Placements: Around 60% of students have been placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Confident Group, etc. They also offered a good starting salary package. In the future, students will be recruited for good positions. Companies value our skills over our grades.
Infrastructure: This college provides good facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available for students. Labs, the library, and classrooms are good. In the hostel, good-quality food is provided for students. Hostel facilities are also good. Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel. There are separate study rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. We can score good marks only by listening to the classes and taking lecture notes. They provide remedial sessions for tough subjects. They teach the lab sessions well. Teachers make us prepare well for university exams.
Other: I chose this course because my father is also a civil engineer and he has his own company. After graduating, I can take care of his company. Events in the college are excellent. Campus life is good.

Review of FISAT - Federal Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: The placements in FISAT are good for the CS and circuit branches. Almost 90% of students from each class in CS and ECE get placed. Mostly the recruiters are IT companies like TCS, Wipro, UST, etc. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The resources provided here is one among the best in Kerala. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel food and cleanliness. Extremely good hostel and campus. Laboratories are average and Wi-Fi is just usable. Classrooms are normal, and there is no theatre seating just like an ordinary classroom.
Faculty: Some teachers are exceptional while some adjust to doing their job. It is the KTU syllabus and that's the worst. The curriculum is average. It does not make students industry-ready. The pass percentage is almost 50%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science and also circuits. It has a lot of opportunities, hands-on experience, industrial visits, and talks to alumni who get jobs in the core field. It should help to improve the academics.

Q:   Are admissions at Federal Institute of Science and Technology entrance-based or merit-based?

A:

Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.
