The college has good placement statistics of the passed out batches.
Placements: The placement statistics of FISAT is high compared to the other private engineering colleges in Kerala with an average package of 5.17 Lacs per annum. The highest package offered is above 17 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was somewhere near 3.5 Lacs per annum. Almost 95 percent of the students who don’t have any backlogs have been placed in good companies. There are many companies which recruit freshly graduated students from our college which also include core companies. Our college has a very good placements cell which helps the students. Even though the placements procedure start from s7, our college provides placements training from s3 onwards. Our college also provides so many internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top notch, it looks like an old palace. The college is regularly cleaned by the staff and its premises is kept very clean, all the classrooms are technologically smart. The entire college has good Wi-Fi coverage. Our college library is very large and has a variety of books available. The students can access library even after the college hours. There are 2 men hostels, one is the main hostel and the other is a PG hostel. The first years are staying in the PG and later when they reach 2nd year they shift to the main hostel. The rooms are above average and the bathrooms are just average. The college mess has a fixed menu which is revised every 3 months. The quality of food is not even average (like in most of the hostels). The college has a very big cricket ground and a football ground which is under construction. There are basketball, volleyball and badminton courts as well. The college has good medical facilities, for any emergency, an ambulance is always available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is very high in our college. All the teachers are highly educated. Most of the teachers teach very well and in an understandable manner. This curriculum makes us an eligible for core industries and studying well will definitely help you to get a well paying job. The semester exams are conducted by the KTU university which are difficult, only 2 series exams are conducted by the college which are easy compared to the semester exams. The passing percentage varies according to the branches, it is almost 70 percent. .
Other: I have chosen this course out of my own interest. The best thing is that this course makes me eligible for working in core electrical industries. I wish the university becomes punctual in publishing the results and other things. We are getting lesser time for a semester than the 6 months promised by the university.

FISAT is the best among the private colleges in Kerala currently.
Placements: The department of electrical and electronics engineering in our college has a wide range of placement packages and many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCL, etc. come for placement drives. The average salary package is more than 33.6 LPA. Also, core field jobs are offered by many other companies with good packages.
Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure with good classrooms that are fully smart with projectors screens, etc. Good ventilation system and good lighting are provided. We have a very big field for playing and a small one is under construction. We have Wi-Fi facility for students, a very good library and a digital library. Good hostel and canteen facilities are provided.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very good towards the students; they are always available for any doubt, clearance or any other need. They are very cooperative and good towards the students. The course follows KTU's syllabus, which is best for technical learning. Semester exams are not so hard. The pass mark is 40 if we have a minimum of 35 in internal exams.50% out of 150 is the pass mark. 40 marks on the written exam are passing marks.
Other: BHARATHAM is the most famous college festival held every two years. And in between, we have other programs as part of Onam, Christmas, etc., and by many clubs like IEEE. The campus is very good in every way.

One of best colleges in Kerala .
Placements: The Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) has a good record of placement. The placement cell of FISAT works efficiently to make the students reach a higher level. 3 lacs per annum was the minimum package for last year's placement. Many core companies chose FISATians for their work.
Infrastructure: A good classroom with good air conditioning makes the class more attentive. Also, libraries provide a wealth of information for students to peruse, encouraging them to become more involved in their studies and references. Hostel, canteen, and mess are all quite good enough to enrich a student's needs .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers use new and modern ways to teach, making the students attentive and helping them score well in exams. The course curriculum is relaxed, and in a semester, two internal exams, which are tough, make the students study well for finals.
Other: Many events, like Bharatham, one of the best cultural colleges in Kerala, are here. Also, other events make college life beautiful .

Q:   Are admissions at Federal Institute of Science and Technology entrance-based or merit-based?

A:

Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.
