Faculty: FISAT faculty members are experienced and supportive, with a curriculum aligned to industry standards. Practical projects and internships make students job-ready. Exams are moderately tough with a high pass rate. Overall, FISAT ensures solid career preparation.

I am satisfied because of its placements in 2022.
Placements: Around 26 students are placed out of 30 students. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Kalki Tech, Tech Mahindra, VVDN, Tata Elxi, Quest Global, Wipro, and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Almost 60% of students get internships in different companies such as Ultra Tech Cement manufacturing, FACT, HE-Man, Niraamaya, etc. Junior web developer, site engineer, and software analyst are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Our department has facilities such as a transducer laboratory, process control laboratory, electronics laboratory, IRRAC, computer laboratory, departmental library, clean classrooms, 24X7 Wi-Fi, and CCTV. We have good hostel facility. Hostels are always cleaned by staff. The food quality is good, because we have a farming culture on our campus. The canteen also has good quality food, but space is limited. It will be rush if everyone goes to the canteen at break time. Ambulance service is available 24X7. We have a well-maintained cricket ground and basketball court. There are teams for football, badminton, basketball, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and cooperative. They will support every single student, and they will provide additional support for weak students. They also support students during placements. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. But it provides the basic idea to join the industry. Semester exams' difficulty level is moderate. The toughest semester is S3. If students pass out this semester, then all remaining semesters are easy. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose this course, because it has a huge demand in foreign countries. Any industry that is using automatic machines requires instrumentation engineers. We also have scope in electronics as well as mechanical fields. Apart from studies, this college provides a wide variety of events and programs. We have an inter-college art fest that is Bharatham which is a famous fest in Kerala. Arts fests, tech fests, Onam celebration, Christmas celebration, Holy, ethnic day, farewell, and many other fests are conducted in this college. Our campus is spread across 44 acres of land.

FISAT is your dream college.
Placements: When comparing FISAT with other self-financing colleges in Kerala, I can surely say that it's one of the best colleges you can get. They provide placements with a good percentage. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA and the average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Schindler, TCS, and Cognizant visited our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is huge, and WiFi is available but the speed is not good (average of 4-7mbps). We have Smart classrooms and a huge central library that can be accessed by anyone with collage ID card. The hostel has small rooms, and the bathrooms can be better. Food is also not good especially if you are coming from Kozhikode, Kannur, Malappuram, etc.
Faculty: We have a good faculty team. Teachers are well qualified and trained. But they are very strict when it comes to academics. They are very helpful, and we can approach them to ask anything anytime. As for exams, it's up to KTU nothing can be said about that. For 2024 students, we have a new curriculum. Until the previous year, there were 6 modules in a semester but now there are only 4 modules. Exams are a bit difficult.

It is good in the list of private colleges, but girls have less freedom.
Placements: The placements are okay as top students get placed in core companies, but most of the students get placed in roles such as software engineer etc. Based on private colleges, FISAT has a very good placement rate and is a good option if we are considering private colleges. The placement season starts in the 3rd year, and the placement cell helps us get jobs in the early stages.
Infrastructure: The college has two hostels for boys and girls. In case of girls, the first-year B.Tech students stay in PG hostel along with students from MCA, MBA etc. The facilities are good, but the wardens aren't much friendly. We aren't allowed to go outside the college, even for important things such as shopping, without calling home for permission. In the 2nd year, we shift to the UG hostel (which is in the same compound), which has much better facilities and really good staff compared to the previous hostel. There is much more freedom here. In the case of boys, they have a better experience as they have curfew time till 9 at night, and also their wardens are really friendly.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. Most of them are really invested in teaching, and we feel their passion when they try to make us understand every concept fully. But I had some trouble in my 1st year with one subject as the teacher was mostly absent-minded and didn't cover a lot of topics in our syllabus. But apart from that, all the other teachers were just wonderful.

One of the best Private Eng. Colleges in Kerala
Placements: Highest package was 12 LPA, lowest was 5 LPA . A good percentage get placed through campus placement. Top recruiting companies are Infosys , TCS , TATA ELXI , Schneider, etc. Top roles offered are Engineer and Project Manager. A good percentage of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are quite clean and cosy. Fisat has a touch of greenery everywhere . It is one of the hygienic campuses you can find. Hostels are pretty neat and clean . You have to share your room with 2 other students. The toilets are clean but quite old.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very well qualified. They have years of experience in this field. This course was pretty outdated, but now they have updated it with a new syllabus . They make industry-ready students . They have tried their utmost to reduce the gap between academics and industry.
