Placements: In 2022, around 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 9.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Mind Tree, Capgemini, etc. The minimum salary package offered was 9.5 LPA by Infosys and TCS Ninja for a programmer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are better. The infrastructure is average in this college. Wi-Fi is available but we can have only 1 GB of data daily for free. If you need to use data, you will pay first. Lab are also good but the library is amazing. The library is fully air-conditioned and has unlimited Wi-Fi. No hostel facilities are available in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. B.Tech course has many branches. In this college, the core branches are not good, but CSE, IT, CSE DS, and ECE are good. During exams, guards are very strict. The exam system is very strong in this college.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, about 27 students have been placed. About 60 students were placed in the previous batch. The salary package offered is good. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Cognizant, TCS Digital, Infosys, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships at Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The top role offered is a programmer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Our college facilities are good. The infrastructure, labs, and library are good. Our lab and library have air-conditioners. The canteen is hygienic and the food served in our canteen is good. We have a playground. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Our teachers are good, helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. If you study properly, exams are easy. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Events are excellent at our college. I chose this course since I have an interest in computers and there is a good chance of jobs for CSE and IT students nowadays.

Placements: Till now for 2025 batch, the placement rate is 20%. The packages offered are: The lowest - INR 3 LPA; the highest - depends upon the skills and company INR 7-9 LPA; average - INR 4 LPA. Companies which provides placement include ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, TCS, CAPGEMINI. Job roles offered are: Java Developer, Software Engineer, Project Engineer. You have lots of option for this course.
Infrastructure: Its average and not so great. The infrastructure is decent, not good enough but not bad at all. Canteen looks great from inside, food is not at all good. Basically canteen is used for stationary purpose now, they have all the things which you will be needed for your course.
Faculty: It's great to have some skillful and helpful professors. Semesters are unpredictable, because of MAKAUT territory.
Other: It was trending then, but now I have realized that everybody chooses CS or IT field. Vast competition. Extracurricular activities, fest - 9/10.

A pleasant experience and a good institution.
Placements: In my course around 95% students are placed. The highest package is more than 10L and the lowest I guess is 2.8L. The average package was 4l. I myself got 4L package at cognizant. The top recruiting companies were cognizant wipro and tcs. 75% students had prior internship before joining Full time employment in cognizant wipro or tcs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is strictly okay not too good nor too shabby. Wi-Fi is just okay. Our library is big and very nice lots to read. Our classrooms are just okay. The canteen is not that good. We have lots of sports and events like sportivo as for hostel I never stayed at hostel I'm a local guy.
Faculty: The teachers in IT faculty are very nice helpful. I can assure you this is the faculty where you don't face any harrasment from teachers at all they help you a lot they respect students a lot. Our teachers try to cover our syllabus as well as they are able to. The semester exams are not too tough if you study properly from teachers notes that's more than enough.

Really good infrastructure and facilities with supportive teachers.
Placements: When we got admission to this college last year, nearly every student from our department got placed, and some people had two or more jobs at hand. This year, since there has been a downfall in the market, jobs are a bit tough to get. The highest package that was offered in our course was, I think, 8 or 9 LPA, and that same person had 7 jobs at a time.
Infrastructure: There are two libraries in our college the central AC library is for engineers only so there's also Wi-Fi in the library. The library is quite spacious, with all the. The classrooms are also quite spacious. There's a canteen in college where you would get more than food—all kinds of study materials, top sheet and others that would be provided by the teachers to be distributed to the students. The quality of the food is kind of okay.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified enough to teach us and even help us outside our class if we have any problems with our studies. Some teachers really do teach very well and in a friendly manner. Yes, it makes the students industry ready and if you want to upscale yourself, you can learn other skills as well, but the things you learn from here will suffice. The semester exams are quite hard once in a while but they are usually easy if you study hard. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this background since, since childhood, I have grown up in an IT background since my family is from this background only. The best thing about my course is that there's no end to knowledge in this course and I have just liked it since my teenage years. The things that I would want to improve are teaching only those subjects that would be required of them in life, like engineering and drawing. I couldn't see any need for them in the future. There are so many fests in our college held by the four clubs that we have; basically, these are clubs run by the students and for the students only. So there are many events and fests that will help you get out of your boredom. There are scholarship opportunities like the SVNCM scholarship, which should only be provided to students who maintain a CGPA above 60. There are sports activities like singing and dancing; all of these are supported by the clubs we have, which are for different aspects.

It depends upon which college do you want to go to.
As of now, to get IT in top 5 colleges under WBJEE 2018, one needs to secure a rank within 5k to 6k.
And for Jadavpur University, the rank should be under 500. Best of luck. Hope you will get your best.
