The life-changing experience for a student.

Placements: There are 70 students in my class, and for taking admission in IT, you need to have a percentile greater than 85. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA for non-tech roles, while the average package offered is 3.25 LPA by TCS, TCE, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered is by Nutanix, which is 24 LPA. The number of students who got internships is almost 80%, and in the final year of 2024, at least 70% of students got placements.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good and friendly, where they clear our doubts. Every lab is provided with a LAN connection, and they are always connected to the Wi-Fi network. The hostel rooms are good and hygienic, with proper cleaning. The quality of food is okay; it is not so good and not so bad. The canteen serves good snacks and Chinese items. The college organizes various sports events and games for the students.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly and interactive with the students, and teachers are well-qualified with the highest education in their respective fields. The teachers need to be more updated about the latest trends in the industry so that they can provide the latest trend surveys in the industry. The college needs to upgrade its curriculum according to industry standards; new technologies should be included in the syllabus. The semester difficulty level is moderate.

Other: I chose this field because I always wanted to be an engineer and wanted to pursue my career in software development. Information Technology is the correct branch for starting a career in the IT field. The addition of more of the latest trends in the curriculum will help students to learn more relevant skills.

Best autonomous college in Nagpur.

Placements: 80 percent of students are placed from my branch. The highest package this year was 8 Lakh, and the lowest was 5 Lakh. All the companies that came for CS student recruitment. Students can take internships from outside the college as well. If in case they did not get one, the college will provide them.

Infrastructure: All types of facilities are available in the college, along with bouncers. The food quality and Wi-Fi network are also provided. The sports room with multiple activities is available. Classrooms are ventilated, and labs with assistants are available until the college time.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful, qualified, and the teaching quality is pretty good. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant, and all the labs and study materials make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if you know something about the topic.

Other: The events are held once a year, but on a large scale.

Raisoni College and their life.

Placements: In year 2024, their placement rate was reduced due to the recession and I think it is just 10 to 15%.

Infrastructure: The college has good facilities including a well-equipped lab with the latest software and hardware for IT students. The library is also resourceful offering access to a wide range of research papers journals and different books. Wi-Fi is available but only in the library. Classrooms are good and comfortable chairs are there, whiteboards and projector are also there, so overall classes are good.

Faculty: Faculty are good, exam patterns are also good, but courses are a bit outdated. Updated knowledge is more important but overall things are good. Exams are of 50 marks per semester paper and the remaining 50 is internal. I am enjoying my experience at this college overall if I talk about academic quality, Raisoni College balances both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge simultaneously. Professors are good and knowledgeable, but they are not very practical. So, 7 out of 10.

Other: If you ask me why I chose this course then my answer will be because of my interest in learning the best thing. About courses, they are trying to update the syllabus based on new technology. Events and festivals are very good and happen every year it feels energetic. Scholarships are available other activities are also there like NSS, IEEE, and many more.

College is dynamic but lacks quality.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course (Information Technology) was 180. The average package was around 4 LPA, the highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.25 LPA. The top recruiter on our campus was NUTANIX. Almost all, that is, 100 percent, got internships in companies like Bosch and Kosmosone. The top roles offered in my course included ML Engineer, SDE, SDET, and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: The department was equipped with basic amenities like drinking water and chairs to sit in during classes. The library was not a spot for studying peacefully. There was no wifi and no internet connection, despite a provision for an internet bill in the yearly college fees. There was an indoor sports facility with chess and carrom but not much else.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful but often underqualified, resulting in poor teaching quality that primarily focused on rote learning. The curriculum was obsolete and outdated, not aligned with industry standards. The exams were relatively easy, as most questions were provided beforehand, with a passing percentage of 33.

Other: I chose this course to delve into computer sciences and learn about the modern changes in the IT world. The best aspect of the course is the Credit Transfer Scheme, which allows selected students to attend various semesters at prestigious institutes like IIT Gandhinagar.

All about G H Raisoni College Of Engineering Nagour.

Placements: Every year almost 80 to 90 percent of students get placed from IT and CSE branches. But recession is going on in 2024, so only 25% of students get placed. Many top MNCs come here every year for campus recruitment, including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel fee is 95 thousand per year. Hostel facilities include two-time tea and breakfast, mess, TV room, Gym, Wi-Fi campus, Medical facility, sport room etc. Food quality is average. Not good not bad. College has the best library that has a capacity of 1000 students at a time.

Faculty: Teaching staff is not good, especially in the information technology branch; faculty members are not good. Passing is not a big deal. No fear of backlogs because the exam is not much tough. College Is autonomous so the exam is conducted by the college itself. Whatever is taught in classes, only those parts of the syllabus are considered for the exam.
