Average college in North India.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is about 50%, and others are still unemployed. The highest package is 27 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys and Wipro; the latter is still to come. Top roles offered during placement are Software Engineer (SDE), Quality Analyst (QA), and many other sales roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided to mainly Computer Science students is good, but there must be trained technical staff to resolve our lab problems. The infrastructure is good, but as students are growing in all the batches, there is a need to make a bigger campus so every student can get good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. However, their course curriculum is very old; there must be some new courses that should come in order to grow with the technology. Semester exams are good.
Other: I chose this course because I have wanted to do it since 10th class, and the best thing is you always learn new things as technology evolves. It would be better to improve the course curriculum. Events and fests are the best on our campus.

College provides many support to weak students. Faculty help in projects and any tasks.
Placements: 60% of students get placed. The highest package is 32 Lacs and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs. Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, DXC Technology, TCS, etc.. 30% of students get internships in the 2nd year, and 45% of students get internships in the 5th semester.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. They provide AC classrooms in some classes. They also provide Wi-Fi in the library and computer lab, but not in the classrooms. The canteen is the best place in the college for refreshing the mind. The college also provides medical facilities. The college grounds are very big.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified from IITs and top NITs. Some of the teachers are from private colleges, holding only a Ph.D. degree, but they are the best in their respective subjects and background knowledge. The college curriculum is relevant for making students industry-ready.

One of the top universities.
Placements: Students will be eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. During the summer break, the college conducts training boot camps in which only campus selection preparations are taught. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and Accenture take online tests and select students who perform well. Most students get placed in companies through campus selection only. One student received a package of 17 LPA last year after being placed at Amazon. The college doesn't provide many internship opportunities and doesn't care about the internship aspect. Students have to make efforts and secure internships on their own; the college is not responsible for this.
Infrastructure: The library of this college is well-maintained, and you will find all the necessary books. There are two libraries in the college, both well-furnished and peaceful for study. The classrooms are large, but there are no air conditioning facilities, which makes the classrooms very hot and humid in the summer. The classrooms have four fans, and the computer labs also lack AC, making the labs quite hot. There are various clubs for students run by club members, who conduct workshops that benefit students. The boys' hostel is on campus, but the girls' hostel is in an old building of the college at Galgotias College; a bus will be provided. The rooms are big and ventilated, with a mess, game area, and gym. The food is freshly prepared with a variety of vegetables and fruits.
Faculty: All the important chapters will be covered in each semester, and you will not find any difficulties in understanding them. Initially, you will be taught advanced topics that you studied in the 11th and 12th grades, and then the programming part will be taught from the basics. Not all faculty members are experienced, but some are very good. They have excellent knowledge and the ability to teach students effectively. These teachers explain concepts clearly, making it easier for students to understand. The examination process is similar to other colleges. You will have 3 CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) tests and 1 term exam in each semester. CAT is worth 30 marks, while the End-Term Exam (ETE) is worth 100 marks. The difficulty level is not too high; it's related to the syllabus and is understandable. The teacher-student ratio is 2:4. The teachers are well qualified and hold Ph.D. degrees from IITs and NITs. The best faculty for DSA in B.Tech is Dr. Shubhash Chandra, and the dean is very cooperative with students. Teachers provide notes on every topic and offer extra help. We have 2 mid-term exams for 50 marks each and 1 final exam for 100 marks, along with 2 internal assessments worth 25 marks each.

Life at Galgotia's College.
Placements: Placement is decent. Almost 75-80% of students get placed this year in branches like CS, AIML, AISA, and IT, but in core branches, the scenario is very bad, and hardly 30-40% of students get placed in branches like Mechanical. Overall, it is a good option for you if you are in CS-related branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just awesome but very small in size. But when we compare it with other AKTU colleges, it is quite large. The infrastructure is good and well-managed. Wi-Fi is available inside the campus. Classrooms are well-managed, and AC is there. The library is also good; almost every kind of book is available there and easily issuable for us.
Faculty: The faculty is good. When you ask something related to your studies, they will respond quickly. But the course curriculum is the worst. This is not the fault of the college; this is the main fault of AKTU. In the first semester, we have subjects like Soft Skills, Maths, Chemistry, and Electronics. Only Maths and Soft Skills are useful for us. Soft Skills is for personality development and communication. Exams are held three times: sessionals, PUT, and end-sem. A class test is held every week.
Other: I chose this course because B.Tech in AIML is the future of our generation, and the very main thing is that high-paying jobs are also there. Machine learning is a new thing, and we are very interested to learn it.

Little bit expensive, but good college
Placements: It's existing to explore the opportunities available while I don't have specific information about my college placement. Key factors for placement in my university: - Strong industry connections - Comprehensive training programs - Effective placement cell. To process of college campus placement involves pre-placement activities that happen in my university’s company register and select criteria. Group discussion and case studies, technical and HR interviews, final selection, and offer letters. Many well-reputed companies like TCS, Honda, Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, etc., visit our campus every year for campus placements. The highest package offered to a student was 30 lakhs, and the average package was about 3.5 lakhs PA. Every year, 80% of students get placed in a well-reputed company with a good package. If you study hard and attend all the lectures carefully, then you can easily get placed in a well-reputed company. The university also helps students a lot in their placements and provides all the necessary information to their students regarding placement drives.
Infrastructure: All books related to other course curriculums are available in the library. Classrooms are well furnished with projectors and Wi-Fi is available. The overall infrastructure of this college is good. The university organizes sports activities and extracurricular activities like debate competitions, seminars, guest lectures, and logo making completion every month for the overall development of their students. Many social groups and clubs are also there in our university for the welfare of the students and the university. Hostel rooms are small with 2-seater single beds with a Wi-Fi router given to each room, 2 table chairs, and 2 small cupboards with one balcony— that's all— but Wi-Fi speed is really good, and the lighting system in all the floors is good. There are 8 floors in the hostel, which includes a gym with sufficient machines to work out, a snooker table, a reading room, an air hockey room, a mess, football, cricket, and badminton grounds, and a basketball ground also. The mess is run by SODEXO; their menu is different every day. They provide breakfast, lunch, snacks in the evening, and dinner some days. The food is excellent on some days, but on other days, it is just satisfactory.
Faculty: The course curriculum of this university is relevant. I chose this course because I have an interest in Business Administration. The course curriculum of this university provides good theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the students. The faculty-to-student ratio in this university is 1:60. All faculty members are well qualified, and their teaching method is also good. Most of the teachers have completed their PhD. All teachers are very supportive. Exams were held 3 times in each semester: first, there was a Mid-Term Test-1, then Mid-Term Test-2, and then final exams will be conducted. If you attend all the lectures carefully and study well, then you can easily pass all the exams with good marks. The overall course curriculum was good and it helps the students to be industry-ready.

Course Curriculum Structuring for MBA/PGDM at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology

The course curriculum at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) for MBA/PGDM has been structured to provide students with a solid foundation in business administration. Here's what we've gathered from the students' and alumni's reviews:

* Relevant Coursework: The course curriculum is considered relevant to the industry, providing students with a sound understanding of business principles and practices.
* Lack of Practical Knowledge: However, several students felt that the course lacked practical knowledge, making it essential for students to supplement their theoretical learning with self-study or extracurricular activities.
