Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal. Placements, faculty, and infrastructure- everything is good.

Placements: We can say that there are average students who are placed in this course because students with a science background have fewer chances of being placed. Yes, we can say that those who have excellent communication skills got internships at marketing and research companies. And the companies are the D.E. Show Group, Accenture, Wipro, Zomato, Grofers, In Shots, NIIT, and Urban Clap. These are the companies that come to Gargi College. The highest package is 15.20 lacs, the lowest is 4.75 lacs, and the average is 5.35 lacs. For B.Sc. physical science, 30 to 40 percent of students got placed.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not there at Gargi College. Wi-Fi is only available in labs. Classrooms are good; in every class, there is a projector, which helps students increase their confidence by giving presentations easily. Mostly every book is available in the library, and ACs are also there. The canteen is good and affordable. There is also a medical room. And sports opportunities are also there at Gargi College.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are best in the course. The Chemistry Department is the best department in Gargi College's Science Faculty. And also, we can say that the math department is also good so the teachers are the best. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and also makes the students industry-ready. If they study well, they can gain a better SGPA in semester exams, and their pass percentage is 40% in practicals and 40% in theory.

Other: This course is best for me because I am not sure which subject I can choose in physics, chemistry, or math, and we can do M.Sc. in our interested subject. No improvement needed in my course. Events and fests are amazing. Reverie, the annual fest and Zistatva Diwali Fest are just awesome. But we can say that the campus crowd is average. The campus surroundings are good; scholarships are there and there are many extracurricular activities at Gargi College.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have labs, Wi-Fi, medical facilities, games, sports, and well-furnished classrooms. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. There is no hostel in our college. The food served in the canteen is good at affordable prices.

Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is very good. They solve all our doubts. The course is good. Students can have their future in the research and education sector. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage of our course is 95%.

Our college is good in terms of fests, activities, and teachers.

Placements: Around 47 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is more than 1 LPA. The top role offered is a teacher. After completing this course, we can join the defense force line.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs. We have a physics lab, a chemistry lab, a zoology lab, a botany lab, etc. Our college has many classrooms, staff rooms, and offices. The library has many facilities. Our canteen provides a variety of food items.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. All of them are not helpful. Our course is a bit difficult. We have 7 subjects in total. We have practical exams. Our teachers conduct viva. Exams are a bit difficult for average students. The course includes maths, physics, and chemistry.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join the teaching line. Our college conducts fests on time.

Overall an average college.

Placements: None of them tried for placements as most of them were preparing for MBA/UPSC/SSC CHL/IIT. First of all, it's not a prof course which means it won't land you in placements. It's a research field. You will have to go for a Master's. We don't have any recruiting companies. Internship offers are regular both paid and unpaid.

Infrastructure: The teachers are excellent. Almost the entire DU faculty is highly qualified. Infrasture is amazing as well. The red walls are aesthetic. Wi-Fi is not available. The library only has academic-related books and newspapers. The canteen is excellent. Sports and games are highly motivated. We have a lot of sub-societies under sports as well. It's the most happening society.

Faculty: The course is impressive. The faculty is helpful. Labs are spacious. The south campus is known for its infrastructure. It makes students industry ready. Teachers help in IIT JAM preparation. Books are available. It's a programming course, so checking is lenient and helps a lot. Teachers provide notes as well. And the syllabus is not erratic as in honours.

Other: College is a bit dead. No happening fest after some harassment cases. Teachers in that way are not supportive of either.

Really great environment, you wouldn't wanna miss a day.

Placements: It is hard to get a good job directly after B.Sc. so less placements are there. Good internship opportunities are available. But everyone from my batch is doing well, a few even went to IITs. Some of my classmates are working in big companies and some are teaching in universities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were good, not modern but good. We had access to Wi-Fi and computer lab. There were 3 canteens and food is delicious. You can get full meal here. Labs well-equipped and library is so huge! The whole department is located on a single floor which makes the access easy.

Faculty: Faculty is well, experienced and helping, especially Chemistry department. The curriculum could be made better, more papers could be added so that they cover complete syllabus of University PG entrance exam. Semesters are easy to pass as the syllabus is less. You need to score 27 out of 80.

Other: I chose this course over honours because I wanted to keep my options open. Studying 3 subjects at UG level provides you more opportunities while choosing career. The college is top in ECA, everything about college is perfect but as I mentioned, syllabus could be improved.
