Why should we take admission in GCOEA?
Placements: There is low placement in the Electronic department due to recession. Only 10% of students are placed in the EnTC department. Overall placement in other departments is good. This year, Civil has a good placement record, with nearly 40-45 students being placed.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. There is no hostel facility for 3rd and 4th-year students, but the hostel for 1st and 2nd-year students is new and has all facilities like a water cooler, Wi-Fi, and a library. The college ground is good, but there is no ground for sports like basketball or table tennis.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful and friendly with students so that they can ask doubts without any fear. The course is quite theoretical and doesn't prepare students well for industries. College exams are tough, and there is a separate passing criterion which reduces the passing percentage but also increases the overall CGPA.
Other: EnTC is a good stream that provides both core and software options to students. The college organizes a cultural fest called Zenith and a tech fest called Prajwalan.

Why should we take admission in GCOEA?
Placements: Due to the recession this year, not all electronics and telecommunication students were placed; only a few of them were, but overall, the placement results are good. Last year, the average package was 5 LPA, with the highest package at 10 LPA and the lowest at 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The overall campus of Government College of Engineering Amravati is very good, although some buildings are under construction. In a few years, each branch will have its own separate building, as these buildings are currently under construction. The atmosphere is also pleasant.
Faculty: The behavior of the faculty members is good. Each faculty member has their own special cabin, making it very easy for students to clarify any doubts they may have. The electronics branch is very helpful in industries and is growing day by day.
Other: The reason to choose this branch is that Electronics is at the leading edge of the world today and will be in the future as well. If you are interested in hardware, then electronics is the best option. Practical knowledge is required in electronics, so hands-on practice is necessary.

Placements are very low. Teachers show attitude. They don't teach properly.
Placements: The highest package is 15 LPA. Campus placements are very low. The highest placement they tell you about is not campus-based. From campus placement, the lowest package is 2 LPA. The training and placement cell is not that well updated. Campus placement is like 20 students out of 400 students.
Infrastructure: The majority of buildings are under construction. In Basic Electrical Engineering and Basic Electronics Engineering, lab kits and multimeters are not available. In the chemistry lab, they make chemicals on their own, due to which readings cannot be made accurate. In the computer lab, most of the computers are damaged.
Faculty: They don't teach properly. Sometimes they don't even complete the syllabus and just declare that it's over. They cannot complete just one chapter in four weeks. They inform you about assignments and practicals just before the deadline ends. Some faculty members are pedophiles.
Other: There are many events. The three main events are: Zenith, which is the cultural festival, Prajwalan, that's central India's biggest tech festival, The Kalpana Chawla Trophy is basically a sports event.

Satisfied with this college regarding the infrastructure and the facilities.
Placements: The infrastructure is really good in our college and new construction is under progress. The departments of CSE and IT have very good placements but there is almost 0% placements in electronics and telecommunication branch. Recently TCS hired so many students. I’m happy to be here.
Infrastructure: Availability of various things such as Wi-Fi and chilled filter water is there in our campus. The hostel is really good and well-maintained. Availability of water stations is present in every wing. During summers, they provide water coolers. The safety level in the hostel is very good. Guard women are kept.
Faculty: The curriculum is really good. Practicals are performed during practical sessions. So many different varieties of equipments for practicals are available in the lab. Costly equipments are also available in our department for performing practicals. The students are allowed to use the equipments whenever they want.
Other: I'll pass out from this college in the year 2026.

The life at GCCOEA which students can remember in their lifelong.
Placements: In my class, there are 70 students, and it is of one branch; then there are 8 branches, so you can calculate. The average package is 4 lac. And the highest is 12 lac. There are so many companies visit the college like TCS, Accenture, Wipro are service-based companies but provide a decent package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good, library is good, the hostel facility is very good, it is very safe, and strict as well. The mess food also not that bad, I like it. There is an event KCT which is a sport event organised by the student college equally support the sport also.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All teachers are Ph.D. holders; they are good at their subject. The curriculum is quite old. It should be changed as per today's situation. The exams are taken very strictly; no one can cheat in exams. Papers are also checked very strictly. There are so many backlog students you get in college.
Other: It was not taken by choice, taking CS was the only option but the cutoff of CS was very high so I took this. But I do not have any kind of regret; this branch also has a lot of opportunities with more hard work.
