Overall it is the 2nd best college in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh.
Placements: Placements in our college are not very much as most of the students opt for higher studies or competitive exams. But our college tries to approach different companies for providing jobs to students. The number of placements is increasing year by year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Wi-Fi facility is available 24x7, but it is very slow inside the campus. Classrooms are good with all the necessary facilities like a whiteboard, smart class, etc. The library has a huge source of books, and it even has a special book bank for ST and SC students, which is good considering the number of students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality increased due to the TECHQUIP program, which selects highly qualified and technical teachers. Teachers are very helpful for students and create unique thinking in them to understand the subjects.
Other: The fee structure of this college is good and affordable. The annual tuition fee is Rs. 18,000, which is good for the students as it is not too high. Very good scholarships are available for ST, SC, and OBC students so that they can study well without facing any financial problems. The college also provides scholarships to general students according to the merit list. As 2-3 student from each branch who holds the highest position in their branch according to the selection list get the scheme like TFW, and it also provides scholarship.

Review of Government Engineering College, Bilaspur.
Placements: Very few students in our college got the placement, i.e., less than 10% of the student got campus placement. Placements in our college are very bad. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are not bad. The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, computer lab, chemical lab, library and smart whiteboard. The sitting arrangement of our college is bad. Quality of the hostel is very bad. The canteen facility is average. Medical facilities, sports and games are also average.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is less in our department. The course curriculum is very different about the need of industry, but it does not make the students industry-ready. If the course curriculum gets right now, then we get a better placement.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course gives of my dream life, and it gives me a good life. The digital world is very interesting, so I want to work in this world, and it also gives the highest salary package. I wish the college should improve my programming, coding skill and understanding skills.

GEC Bilaspur is one of the best and the smartest colleges in Chhattisgarh.
Placements: Placements : Students who have CGPA around 8 got placed. The highest salary package of 3.85 LPA and the average salary package of 2.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1.2 LPA are offered in our college. Insight is the top recruiter of our course. Sales and marketing team roles are offered in our course. The highest salary package of 3.5 LPA and the average salary package of 2.35 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1.8 LPA are offered in our course. Only 20% of the students got internships, and Insight is the best company where students for internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure : Labs are quite good, and the Wi-Fi facility is available only at college. Classrooms are not digitalised yet, and the library is average. The mess is available in both boys and girls hostel, and the canteen is also quite good. The medical facility is also available outside the college, and sports ground is available for outdoor sports. The infrastructure of our college is not much good. There is a lack of maintenance of the building, labs, classrooms and washrooms. Wi-Fi facility is available only on some days. The library is too old with many old books, and no new edition books are issued. There is a lack of sports facilities. The hostel is like a haunted place. Food provided in the mess is not good. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is very average.
Faculty: Faculty : Faculty members in our college are very good, and each teacher has a good command in their subjects. They are helpful, and every teacher hired through the PSC exams. Their teaching quality is quite good. The course is changed from this year, and students are provided with an opportunity to do summer training in MSME industries to make themselves industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful for students and create unique thinking in them to understand the subjects. Smart classes are used to teach. Our maths faculty, HOD and principal are very impressive and work for the development of students. Teachers not only teach subjects but also enhance our skills through speeches, debates and games.
Other: Our college provides the best fee structure for branch openers. They will get a discount of Rs. 18,000 yearly. This is provided for the 20% of branch openers. Very good scholarships are available for ST, SC and OBC students so that they can study well without facing any financial problems. I am dissatisfied with the college because of the faculty, infrastructure and placements.
Placements: About 20% of the students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 3.75 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. None of the companies visits here to recruit students, so we have to attend for open campus placements. The college does not provide an internship for students. Our branch has the worst condition in our college. There are no faculty members, and there is no lab and equipment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very old, and it is in very poor condition. The entry to 2nd floor of the college is closed because of the damaged infrastructure. Classrooms are not in good condition, and the branches are broken. There are smart board for students. Hostel facility is the worst.
Faculty: There are no permanent faculty members. The knowledge of the faculty is also not good, and sometimes only one faculty member teach all the subjects. The subject knowledge of the faculty is not good and complete. They do not provide extra knowledge about the subject. They do not conduct a practical session for students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in computer subjects. I want to become a computer engineering.
