Government engineering College Rajkot review .

Placements: Up to 75% of students in my course get placed in companies. The highest package in my course is 7 LPA. The lowest package in my course is 4LPA. The average package for my course is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Reliance, Wipro, TCS, Tavtasoft, etc. recruit students from our college. Almost every student gets an internship from our college at companies like TCS, Reliance Wipro, etc. The top roles are VLSI engineer, developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. Facilities for this course are also very good. There is Wi-Fi in the department. All labs and classrooms are well furnished. Each department has a separate library. Hostels are well furnished and big. But the only problem is that there is no mess in our hostel. Sports and games facilities are available in the hostel.

Faculty: All the teachers are well-educated and qualified. They have good knowledge about the course. They have very good knowledge. Teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is also relevant. This course makes students industry-ready. There is a 90% pass percentage in my course.

Other: I chose this course because I like electronics and communication. The course is very good and has a lot of scope. I think a larger teaching portion should be included in this course. There are events organized at our college. Which includes Urja Sports Week, Techfest, and other events.

Placements: In our college, almost 50% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Our college provides good facilities. All branches have separate buildings. The hostel facilities are good. Medical and sports facilities are available.

A new journey begin at a place far from city and new people.

Placements: In electronics and communication engineering the placement is okayish placement % is like 60% this year The highest package offered is 6 Lacs and the average package is 2 to 3 Lacs Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Infochip, Infotech Mostly the companies are of embedded systems.

Infrastructure: In our department every needed instruments are present for us the labs are also good The classrooms and beches are also of good quality and smart boards are also present Library is divided into 2 portions one for girls and another for boys both can't sit together and study this is not a good point In the hostel no facilities are present they provide only room and beds No food is provided And the hostel is only available for boys.

Faculty: The teachers are so good with best teaching skills that if you attend all classes so your syllabus will be covered in class only and there will be no need to study more in exams The semester exams are quite difficult and the pass percentage of exams are approximately 65 to 70%.

GEC, Rajkot ECE branch review from insiders.

Placements: Almost 90% of eligible students get place in companies like Tatvasoft enfochip Arohi embedded systems, etc. Average package is of 3.5 to 4.2 LPA and heights package for ECE is 6lpa. In 8th semester we have to opt for internships but most of student get placed Before 8th semester so they have to do internships in their respective companies where they are placed.

Infrastructure: College has well established Wi-Fi network of namo Wi-Fi and department Wi-Fi as well. Labs are well-equipped and maintained. We have ssip lab where we can get components for projects and space to work. Also their is departmental library in EC department as well common library for entire college. Hostel infrastructures is good but not good maintained and facilities. At name of sports facility their is just one single sports ground which is not maintained. Every year their is one sports event named urja cindycted after completion of odd semesters.

Faculty: The know of faculty members are mind blowing, they all are well qualified and have great knowledge in their respective fields. They help us and guide us in each and every problems solving projects and mentor us. Courses are advanced and also bridge to industries are build in our college in form of Center of Excellence building where we are made industry ready. Exams are easy to crack but few subject are bit headed in which around 20-30 people out of 120 students batch get backlog and clear in 2nd or 3rd attempt.

Other: For me it was clear from my schooling only that I have to do BE. ECE and I get Admitted in this college where fees is very low. Best this about the course is that EC is mother branch of all branches like IT, CS IC, etc. Thing I would love to improve is that we can increase no. of lab house from 2hourse a week per subject to atleast 4hourse a week. Theory can be easily learned via practices but not practices through theory. Scholarships are given by state government of Gujarat according to category and even Jammu & Kashmir students get scholarship from central government. Fest is conducted every year but since covid it has not been conducted.

Faculty: A few faculty members are helpful and well-qualified. Winter papers are pretty easy, but summer papers are a little moderate. Papers are unpredictable sometimes.

Other: I chose this course as I am interested in this field. Few events and fests are held by the college.
