GN is the best college in the northern states of India.
Placements: About 85% of the students got placement in our course. The rest 15% of the students have a low academic percentage. Companies like LNT and Gamen visited here for placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 7.9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are LNT and Shapoorji Pallonji. Site engineer is the role offered to the students in our college. The highest salary package offered is 9.9 LPA in computer science engineer. Almost 93% of the students got an internship at our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library in respective departments. A separate building is available for civil engineering and a separate building for computer science engineering. Quality of the hostel is very good. It has a four-storey building and food is also available here with a cycle of quality. Badminton courts and the indoor games are also available in our hostel. There is a cooperative mess in our college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and well-qualified. All teachers are PhD holders. Our college recruits the high knowledgeable faculty from IITs. Teaching quality is very high.
Other: I have chosen this course because geotechnical engineering is the best course in our college. The college should improve the infrastructure of the labs. Events like culture fest and technical fest are organised here. Campus ground is nearly about more than 8,000 acres. There are markets in the surrounding areas. Activities like football, cricket, etc., are conducted here. All extracurricular activities like Bhangra, Gidha, Boliyan, are conducted here which boost up leadership quality in a student.

Average institute with good facilities.
Placements: This institution is not the best choice for placements if you want to be placed in any company. Bachelor's is okay but after masters, you can only pursue off-campus placements or higher education. Degree doesn't help much in higher education as education is not that great.
Infrastructure: The facilities are okay, not that great but okay. I mean, you can't compare this college to other premium institutes but it fares pretty well as compared to peer institutes. Hostels are not that great but very lively, you'll experience an awesome experience there.
Faculty: Yes, the senior faculty is very learned and has rich experience but the same can't be said for newer faculty, most of those teachers are ad-hoc professors and lack experience but overall it is great. The best trade is computer and Science engineering as maximum students are placed in the IT industry.

My honest review writing that I have experienced.
Placements: Placements are average in this college. Only two students got placed in the Electro and Communication Engineering 2023 batch; otherwise, all are wasted for placements. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. I am not recommending this college for those students who are looking for placements after an immediate degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, clean, and green; colleges take care of facilities; everything that is required for students is also available; Wi-Fi is also available.; classrooms have a have a library; overall, everything is good. Good, all books are available in the library, but in limited amounts.
Faculty: It's 50-50. Some teachers are helpful and some are not; some teachers just come finish their lecture and go. If the syllabus is not completed in time, then it is the student's responsibility to complete the syllabus for the examination, and if you have failed the exam, then it's also your responsibility.

Good placements. So, absolutely satisfied.
Placements: The placement rate is very high. You will get many opportunities there. The placement opportunities for B.Tech students are more as compared to other streams. Training and personality development courses are there for placements. Internships are there. Some students get hired in companies during training.
Infrastructure: It is a complete Wi-Fi enabled campus. Good labs with the latest kits or equipment are available. There are sufficient books in the library. Sports are good. Many opportunities are there in terms of sports. Medical facility within the college is not so good, but ambulance facility is better. The classrooms are good but without AC. There are ACs in labs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. ECE department is strict to rules and policies. Teachers are very interactive and solve queries. I got industry exposure. During 6 months training, it was mandatory for the college to get training from any industry.
Other: Most of the crowd is from rural areas. Many opportunities will be there to represent your talent in different fests. Many technical and non-technical events will be there with attractive prizes. Scholarships are there, but only for reserved categories.

Other: It is the best engineering college in terms of research and quality education. Faculty here is quite helpful and knowledgeable. Fees are marginal as compared to Thapar University, Patiala. Besides that, college has a library section which has number of hard bound books and soft copies, online access to international journals like IEEE, springer etc. are available. This college is NBA, UGC accredited.
Campus placements are good for graduate and post graduate students. Campus life is fantastic. Besides studies, almost all sports related facilities are available in the college campus.
Overall it’s a good college to pursue your post-graduation.

Other: This is one of the engineering colleges in Punjab whose name speaks for itself. The college has comfortable classrooms. The professors are good and knowledge providing. Of course, you can't miss too many classes, attendance is strict. Students here are extremely friendly. There is ground available for outdoor activities such as cricket and football. Boys have a lot of freedom, so do girls. Being a govt. aided institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Some good companies come for campus placements too.
