Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

GNIET College Review by the Student
Placements: In an engineering college, all the courses related to this field are available. Basically, for the CSE course, the placement rate of the college is excellent. Out of 60 students, a minimum of 20 students secure placements from the campus. Additionally, within 2 years, you will receive internships provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The environment of the college is conducive to studying. You can feel that it's a good environment for learning. The college has a big library where you can study your course and also gain extra knowledge using online labs. The Wi-Fi connection of the college is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive; they can clear all your doubts and also help you prepare for exams. The curriculum of the college is decided by the university, and exams are held in the semester pattern. If you clear all the exams, you can achieve a good pointer.
Other: Just pay attention to the staff and do as they teach you.

A top recruiting company of our course is Tech Mahindra. CSE course is good in our college. The college provides very good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Food served in the hostel is good. The college provides Wi-Fi facility for students. Playgrounds are available. In the hostels, they provide Wi-Fi facility with good rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They are PhD holders, and they teach well. Their way of teaching is good. They communicate well with the students as compared to other colleges.
Other: I have chosen this course because CSE is the best and easy course when compared to other courses, and I want to become a software engineer.

I am satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty members and facilities.
Placements: About 80% of the students are placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, the average salary package offered is about 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata Consultancy Services, Google, Amazon, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered to the students are software designer and cloud architect. About 87% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college has an eye-catching infrastructure with many facilities. Some of the facilities include Wi-Fi all over the campus. Our classrooms are equipped with a projector. There is a central library with many books. There are labs with Linux, and every lab consists of a good internet connection.
Faculty: Our college provides us with well-experienced faculty members. Most of the professors hold personal PhD, and all of them are well-qualified. Teaching quality is very good, which is understandable and would benefit us in many ways. They teach us in an efficient way so that we can learn easily.
Other: I have chosen this course based on my interest. I think there is nothing wrong with this course. We have regular fests, annual days, fun activities, etc.

Infrastructure is high-class, but the handling is poor. I am not satisfied with people.
Placements: I am from the CSE department. In the previous year, we had more than 901 placements. The CSE department has the best placements of all. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the average salary package offered is about 3-4 LPA. Some of the major companies, like TCS and Microsoft, recruit students every year. Google may or may not visit the campus every year.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the campus are up to the mark, and every department has got its own separate blocks and labs. Classrooms got good furniture. The library is superb, and all the books are available. The library is well-maintained with the updated books. Hostel facilites are very good, and we are also provided with a GameHouse called Gametron and a well-equipped gym with a trainer. Rooms are clean and hygienic, and separate Wi-Fi is available for each room. For medical facilities, a doctor is always available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful and well-qualified with PhDs. They help us to learn new things, but they are very strict in studies and discipline. Teaching is up to date as they use projectors and live examples. Preplacement training is given to every student, which makes us industry-ready with all the required skills. Subjects like Addons offered by Adobe and Redhat in UI/UX, cloud computing and IoT helps us to gain industry standards.
Other: I opted for computer science because I am into computers, and I believe that the future of mankind is on computers. The college should make the course better by providing more interaction with computers and software because what we learn by doing is more effective than by watching.
